If Buell continues to be a dead brand the board will continue much like many other forums of other long gone brands and models. Look at the various forums for xs650 yamahas, Honda sohc750's, suzuki Gt's, Kawasaki triple 2 strokes, triumphs, Nortons, BSA, Indians, vincents..Those boards have sponsors that sell parts, do engine building and custom things. This board wil mutate to the same if buell never rises again. Just my 2 cents, but seen it with other brands, and forums. this board is no different. | ||

hey Dan , i've no dog in this fight , however it was kinda funny this morning when you said something about us not knowing about ATC . i looked down and was wearing my ragged ATC t-shirt while working on my '67 Triumph . screw all the whiners . i hate broccoli but you won't see me in the grocery store yelling at the manager and other customers that it is just wrong to even sell the stuff !!!! no i pick out my peppers , onions and all the other good stuff . then move on . But guessing you're only trolling and using the whining so you sound sincere. you obviously have cred in the buell world . hows about "man"ing up and maybe talking to Blake or FB or Froggy about getting unbanned instead of whining about being banned and having to post using your womans nick . personally i kinda like the folks here even the whiners  Cheers Woody | ||

Actually, written by Lilly Coyle Dear Pat Robertson, I know that you know that all press is good press, so I appreciate the shout-out. And you make God look like a big mean bully who kicks people when they are down, so I'm all over that action. But when you say that Haiti has made a pact with me, it is totally humiliating. I may be evil incarnate, but I'm no welcher. The way you put it, making a deal with me leaves folks desperate and impoverished. Sure, in the afterlife, but when I strike bargains with people, they first get something here on earth -- glamour, beauty, talent, wealth, fame, glory, a golden fiddle. Those Haitians have nothing, and I mean nothing. And that was before the earthquake. Haven't you seen "Crossroads"? Or "Damn Yankees"? If I had a thing going with Haiti, there'd be lots of banks, skyscrapers, SUVs, exclusive night clubs, Botox -- that kind of thing. An 80 percent poverty rate is so not my style. Nothing against it -- I'm just saying: Not how I roll. You're doing great work, Pat, and I don't want to clip your wings -- just, come on, you're making me look bad. And not the good kind of bad. +1 Slaughter. You should be taxed more for having kids, not like how it is for me losing about half my paycheck to taxes just because I am smart and am remaining single and unmarried. I could of had 8 Buell's in the garage at this point, but noooo. | ||

Speaking of child allowances.....During the early parts of the cold war American families were encouraged to have more children. After all we had the land, the resources, the food, all that was missing was the large population of native US born citizens that was needed to defend our shores. This of course was before the technology that has become available to blow away masses of incoming invaders with one button, and to know where and when they were invading. Fifty years ago the borders would not have been allowed to leak as they do now. The Chinese were at that time being paid to not have children, they had the land, but not the resources, and food to sustain. But we are correcting that for them now, aren't we? Jon, I can heartily vouch for the bidet. Heated seat, heated water, adjustable pressure, various selectable irrigation patterns, built-in charcoal filtered de-stinkerator, adjustable temperature warm air dryer, remote control. Life is good.   | ||

Never tried one, BUTT I used to work at a Mediterranean restaurant who's Jordanian owner sold them on the side (yes to white people here in suburbia). I don't find the invention odd, just another way besides anal cabbage (leaves). Maybe we should abolish personal hygiene, eat with the right hand, wipe with the left... | ||

never even heard of a bidet until i was in italy and didn't understand why there were two toilets in the bathroom. then over in the middle east, nothing like trying to squat over what looks like the old style floor urinals and hold your self up to take a squat then figure out how to balance yourself to wipe your butt. | ||

Moroccan toilets are typically a shower head with the hole in the floor... no one ever makes it in the hole cause they all poop standing up. This thread has really gone down the shitter...  heated water, adjustable pressure, various selectable irrigation patterns, Gee Blake, I am surprised you don't have a bidet in your house... maybe you can put one in the Man Cave? | ||
