Spike good call. I don't think there was malice there.

Stewart pulled the same move on Windham in (I think) lap 2 in the same corner. The difference is Windham didn't square off the corner high and early, cutting down into Stewart. They did make contact though.

It's just racing. I've raced on and off for most of my life. Couldn't tell you how many times that has happened. I know I have never been to somebody's pit and knocked over their bike and nobody has done it to me. But people lose their cool sometimes. MX and Supercross are actually a lot tamer than they used to be.

I couldn't make it last year, but I am planning to go to Daytona this year. One of my good friends drives the race rig for L&M (San Manuel) racing. He has been with Larry Brooks for years (since KTM days). I usually get to eat with the team and hang out on race day. It's a good time. Probably not a lot of love lost (from what I hear) between Reed and L&M since the split anyway.

I've got a great Josh Hansen and a bunch of us in a rental story for another day. He was driving and it got parked for the night on a grass hill in the hotel lot. The next day he won Daytona (lites class) when it was the Red Bull/KTM team.

"Opinions aside, there aren't lines in dirt racing"

I don’t agree with that statement.
When I use to race motocross almost every rider would walk the track looking for the best line.
The quickest way around the track was always about selecting the right line. Smoothest, shortest, best berm, ect. Lots of thought went into selecting the best line. There lots of ways to go but usually only a few are the best.

Also Reed was way too far behind to ever except
to pull off a block pass.
I don’t think Reed did it on purpose nor do I think it’s that big a deal, but I don't see
what stwart could of done different. if it was an attempt at block passing, the guy initiating the block pass is the one who takes responsibility when it goes wrong. Also block passing has never been considered very sportsman like.

Reed is a loser. He'll never be a patch on Stewarts talent, and that's why he does this. "If you can't beat 'em, take 'em out."

Reed may be a supercross loser but he is an outdoor champion, not my favorite rider for sure, but DeCoster has an eye for talent, Ryan Dungey looked awesome in the first two races...young and fast. Bubba may be fast but he is also a crasher, that is the only thing that keeps him close to other riders in points. I have so much more respect for him now watching him tough it out, come back and race, then crash and pick it up again and finish.

Even better to see Reed out with a broken hand!
