I would love to post my progress in photos but haven't got the knack of sizing the pix I have to post here, someday maybe

i have that issue to. but i've figured out that i can put pictures on my phone with its memory card (or just take them with the phone) and then email them to photobucket or my facebook. from there i can either just use the photobucket link, or if i've got the time, i just copy the image from photobucket to my hard drive, and then its usually a good size to were i can upload them on here

Its pretty annoying to go through all those steps, but it works for me! : )

Jstfrfun,
I commend you for not doing things half-assed. So rarely done anymore. I'd say you will have great pride in your work once complete.

That's what got me in that paint ad segment from the show I found. Just looked like a half-ass Pep-Boys rattle can paint job.

Very nice Jstfrfun.
Is that a Redneck Engineering set up? I've considered doing one myself.

The full name of it is "drop seat, arched tank, soft tail, Redneck mutant Buell.
I will not recomend buying from them unless you have a fully appointed fab shop to make there "kit" actually work. After paying 5k for my "kit" the frame front mounts did not fit my X1 engine, the rear mount plate did not fit, the foot control mount brackets did not fit, etc. However if you have the equipment and fab talent it can become a sweet finished product. When I comented (complained) about the problems I was facing there response was "the problem is not our product, the problem is you are not a professional bike builder"
But it's gonna be fun when it's finished!

Umm, ok. That would have been an interesting convo. I wonder what their "Professional Bike Builder Degree" looks like?

Brians bikes are donated by a local dealer in the atl area. I have lots of leftovers from the donor bikes, including a frame.

Great guy to hang with, very creative and I have rode with him while he had the Fuller Fueller up in the mountains

I think you would have enjoyed the conversation, but suffice to say I was persona non gratis for awhile in each case of frrustration...and there were many!
Mock-up is coming to a close, just oil, fuel, and vent lines left then it all comes apart for color then re-assembly. After I'm satisfied that it will stay together, I'll send it off to a trusted guy to wire, fire and dyno! Then to DMV for inspection and I get to RIDE!
Now that I have mastered the sizing of photos I'll bring you along as I go.

Wow. I guess if you are a "professional bike builder" you don't care that somebody made something for you and it doesn't fit?

Thanks for the info Jstfrfun and sorry to hear of that conversation and the problems. Looks like things are coming together well.
