Nice thread  I've never been a huge metal fan, more into rock, though a few of the bands I really like are on the border of metal I guess... eg Alice In Chains, Helmet, Rollins Band, Ministry. I've been really getting into Seether lately, though would you call them heavy rock? Modern rock? Whatever, I think they *rock*!  Thanks for posting all the stuff guys, lots for me to check out when I get home tonight, keep 'em coming | ||

Back BAck BACk BACK we go.... Back when I was jam'n this on a Soundesign 8 track player.... The speakers were about 12" tall by 8" wide... I would lay on the living room floor with my head between the two speakers... it was GREAT! til I fell asleep and my mom cam home from work and busted me.... KINGS IN SATANS SERVICE!!! | ||

I was lucky enough to see AIC for their world tour after Dirt was released I've only heard a little of the newer stuff, I'll have to do some digging and have a good listen | ||

I think AC/DC "Back in Black" is the best album of all time. Not because I'm some huge AC/DC fan.... but I would say everyone at one point in their life has heard a song from that album.... and everyone that has posted to this thread could probably sing along to every song on the record. EVERY song on that album is good if not great.... makes me want to break out the beer and "Shake a leg" | ||

I'd post some Suicidal Tendencies but I can't name a tune that isn't explicit, come to think of it, I can't make out anything they say. This one is not explicit, and was featured in the awesome film 'Repo Man'. Very head banging/thrash punk type stuff. Great for headaches! theres this kid at school who only listens to dragon force, and techno music....and he drives this little white mustang thats nothing special, and he always blares techno or dragon force were ever he goes, hes somewhat of a tool, just b/c he's so obnoxious |
