IIRC Conan is in talks with Fox to do a late night show in the same time frame. Since fox doesn't currently have a late night show, should be interesting.

I guess we will see in 7 months what his plans are. Man did Conan get PAID!!! I wish I could get fired and make 45 million

Leno was the only thing on NBC, then there was nothing.
Kimmel is like watching a train wreck, you know it's gonna be ugly and theres nobody to stop it.
Connan is like a dry bowel movement...it hurts!
Ferguson is wack and fun to watch.
Letterman?...well some is good but I usually turn it off halfway through.

Brinnutz, Yes it was like that except Jimmy was singing "it's so hard to say good by, to yesterday" song. I think it was Boyz II Men, with the Roots. He did it in the old Late Night with Conan Studio. They are doing some Doctor show there now.

.....cool picture by the way!

Conan had a contract with NBC, so NBC had to pay to break the contract. Similar to buying out the lease on a factory for a brand you are closing.

Hey Froggy...Neil Diamond?? LOL...I wish it was him... no... it was Neil Young. (unless you was being sarcastic) and I agree with you about his music.
I hope Conan goes to Fox.

During Freebird, wasn't that Beck (no not Jeff, just Beck) with the black guitar on the right? He was just standing there like a turd.

Awww, too bad Frogs, you missed a great opening from Fallon.

I'm baffled that you and so many others haven't turned on to Jimmy Fallon and The Roots... different strokes, fo sho. Give them time, sooner or later there will be another Beer Pong challenge...

BTW, Neil Young put on a GREAT performance.

Watching the jam with Will Ferrell was a hoot. Conan aint a bad guitar player!

I agree that the last show wasn't as good as some of the preceding ones- still was a great show, especially when Conan gave his speech about what his career at NBC meant to him. Despite all the acrimony, harsh jokes and conflict, he spoke kind and true words from the heart.

Good stuff, class act all the way to curtain. I look forward to September, gonna keep a hairy eyeball on CBS if he shows up there...

Frogs, seriously? Not heard of Neil Young?!? Sheesh...

One of the young chicks I work with doesn't know who Bob Dylan is either. Man oh man, youngsters these days...

Steely Dan had it right with the song "Reeling In The Years"...
