East Tennessee Valley, started at 35F this morning, we hit 60F for about a half hour, that ended minutes ago as clouds are now blocking the big fireball in the sky. Cold wet front coming, looks like rain turning to snow.

i don't know, it was 70 something to day for the high. supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow some. temps supposed to drop in the 60's for the highs. 40's for the lows. it just doesn't feel like christmas to me although my mind is saying that it is. florida isn't what it's cracked up to be and can't wait to move elsewhere.

Three and a half inches of snow yesterday, temps in the upper 20's today with clouds. Tonight will bring about same temps as it is warming for the weekend - mid 30's. The lack of sun is what does me in.

36 raining in Illinois, yep the lack of sun is worse than the rain/snow. The days are getting longer now. Spring is on the way!

Full on blizzard in central Iowa. Damned neart lost my way on the sled, traveling a half mile(on a well used sled route) on the outskirts of the berg.

Sunny here this morning, starting to cloud over and feeling pretty muggy so I'm guessing we'll get a late thunderstorm. Not too bad for Christmas Day, somewhere in the low 30's, so say 90°F... : )

Getting on towards 5pm Xmas Day here.
Lovely Day. Warm, gentle sea breeze.
Just been sitting out on the front steps.

Conditions inside are quite pleasant too.

Sorry about the Blizzards. Stay inside and eat. I'm stoking up the BBQ and on my fourth JD.

Looks beautiful Dave.

19 degrees F at this very moment. Forcast high is 25 with a low of 9. It's definitely Winter now. It snowed yesterday and I watched "White Christmas" while wrapping gifts.

I don't know why I don't move somewhere warmer. I spent a few moments in my garage (37.8 indicated temp in there) before coming in to work, just looking at my bike, considering work I can do to spend a little time with her...

Well, Merry Christmas everybody!

MN got slammed.
Not cold, in fact it was above freezing yesterday, it actually rained a bit.
However, we had TONS of snow. About 18" where I live.
It started on Wed afternoon and continued until about 11:00 AM yesterday.
The stuff that came down Thursday night into Friday was wet and HEAVY!! I think it's the worst snow I've ever had to move.

To top it off, I blew up the snow blower on Wed... oil coming out of the block is bad right???
Looks like the con rod decided it wanted to see daylight.

Was cool and drizzly yesterday...partly cloudy and cool this morning...we have a freeze alert for tomorrow morning...looks like the first "winter" weather for us this season...expecting temps in the mid 30's.

That's ok...I bought myself heated gear for Christmas : ) I spent Saturday cruising around to various bike shops just looking around...I went to two Cycle Gear stores thinking they would be likely to have a lot of choices in riding gear...when I asked where the heated gear was...the manager at one store laughed "what the hell do you need heated gear for...this is florida!"..."no we don't stock anything"...pretty much the same at the other store, only nicer and more respectful.(That store may get some of my business in the future).

Finally found what I was looking for at...guess where?... A Harley shop in Orlando (stopped in more to warm up and see if they had any Buell goodies left than any other reason)...they hooked me up with what I wanted and gave me a fairly good discount...the sales guy said they sell quite a bit of cold weather gear..imagine that???

I'm happy, they are happy...all is good.

I drove from near Chicago to Traverse City, MI on Christmas eve. Had rain and freezing rain north of Grand Rapids. The last 20 or so miles was on black ice on county roads. Made it to my mom's place safely, but when I stopped on her driveway my van started to just slide off the driveway backward and sideways. Didn't stop sliding until it went into the snowbank.

Got home to about 5 inches of new snow on my driveway.

In S/E Kansas snowed 6 inches Christmas eve, temps down in the lower teens at night twenties during the day, wouldn't be to bad but the house furnace shot craps Christmas day.

Sleeping on an air mattress in the shop sucks but at least we're staying comfortable.

New heat and air is being installed today ....$6000 enema I hadn't planned on
