...but damn, you have to feel for the guy a little.

Um, no, I don't.

As the father of 2 young girls, I find the man to be morally reprehensible with no redeeming qualities.

If he wasn't a Hollyweird hero, his @$$ would've been in the slammer a LONG time ago.

For those who may think the then 13 yr. old girl and/or her parents are partly to blame, all I can ask is WTF? They may be guilty of not making the best choices, but who "asks" to be raped? That's a B.S. excuse plain & simple.

For those who think he deserves any form of leniency because of his wife's murder and what he endured during WWII, all I can ask again is WTF? If enduring mental & emotional trauma is justification for inflicting trauma upon others, then we should all be singing the praises of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc., shouldn't we? Again, a B.S. excuse.

The dirt bag needs to be extradited & he needs to stand trial for his crimes.

Has stood trial and been found guilty. Unless you are talking about a trial for fleeing justice after being found guilty.

I'd like to think that in a just America, he'll be extradited, tried & given max sentence for fleeing.

I'd also like to think they throw the book at him for his original guilty plea for which he was not sentenced.

We shall see.

So simple without discussion. He plead guilty, He fled sentencing, He is extraditable. Bring Him back and sentence Him, and send Him straight to jail. (REAL JAIL) And convict him on a charge of fleeing too.

i do think her parents are partly to blame. even to this day, i want to know where my kids go and want to know what they're doing. it's just being a part of their life. and now that i'm a grandparent, i expect my granddaughters parents(my daughter) to do the exact same thing so she doesn't ever have to be a victim of something like this or anything else. i'm glad my kids turned out the way that they did and don't have to go to any counseling for something that i allowed to happen as a parent. the only thing they have to be pissed off at me about is for not giving them something or spanking their butts for doing something wrong. (rant off)

What's the problem Sifo? Did I not make myself clear enough?

I was having a little fun at Wolf's expense, bad taste maybe, but he's got my email & my number's in the BRAN. If he finds it offensive I'm sure he'll contact me & I shall unreservedly apologise to HIM if he so wishes.

Damn it's hard to have a laugh these days, do you guys need sunlamps or something?

A 13 year old getting raped isn't a subject that I find humorous.

Unfortunately Mr Grumpy is right. There are some cultures where that is a practice. Which leads to my support for international police co-ordination.

Unfortunately Mr Grumpy sees that as something to joke about and accept.

End of my conversation with Mr Grumpy unless he can point out what I misunderstood.

Either way, she wasn't old enough to be asked.

"No means no" doesn't even apply in this case as statutory law applies.

Here's something else to think about when you follow this up with local law makers. Some countries, Canada being one, don't have a "no means no" law. Here, it's "did you hear a yes?". Point is that at a certain stage of blotto, for example, nobody is saying anything intelligible. A "yes" must be heard.

Again? WTF is the problem here?

I don't find that funny either, which is why I made no jokes about 13 yr olds getting raped!

Read my posts, ALL my posts in this thread, If I made a gag about it please point it out.

ONCE AGAIN, IN BIG LETTERS THIS TIME. THE JOKE WAS WOLFRIDGERIDER'S SUPPOSED IGNORANCE OF UNNATURAL PRACTICES.

NOT ABOUT YOUNG GIRL'S BEING RAPED!!!

THERE. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?

Well yes, there are people who like to be drugged & have their ringpieces stuffed, I'm not one of them but I know they're out there.

I don't think the 13 year old in question 'liked being drugged and having her ring piece stuffed'. Given the specific subject that was in very poor taste.

I can't even beleive you guys are debating this... or even "making light" of it... just proves how far everyone needs to go to educate themselves on the PERMANENT MENTAL TRAUMA this causes the victim... now that is a life sentence...

The guy just needs to be strung up by his nuts for a week and then they need to be cut off.

Crime is crime... he should do 4 years behind bars just for evading the original sentence. Being it's 20+ years later..with interest rates/inflation etc.

You can see the real dude in that video at 1:08

I'm not going to defend age laws. They are arbitrary. I know 12 year olds with more sense than 40 year olds, especially when drugs are involved ( booze is a drug ). Unfortunately, the legal system is not competent to judge competency. So we got these stupid laws.

Romeo & Juliet were under age, but could have been married by the rules of the day. Still could in some states, with parental permission. Remember...the story is that they had such bad judgment that they Die! ( sorry if I ruined it for you )

So we have these silly arbitrary laws.

Roman liked to f$$$ young girls. He has said so. When they are too young, or you force yourself upon them, it's rape. It makes no difference if a middle aged housewife forgives you decades later.

People who rape children tend to do it again. That's not acceptable to me. I oppose the death penalty, usually, but kiddie rapists should not be on the streets, ever, again. I understand Whatever's proposed solution. If I can think of a reason to disagree, I'll let you know.

I totally agree that the guy should do the time for the crime he was originally sentenced to PLUS whatever he "owes" for evading the original sentence. I also can't imagine how F***'ed in the head I'd be if somebody had sliced my incredibly beautiful 8-1/2 month old pregnant wife to pieces.

Bad stuff all around.
