Ok, so this is what happens when you spend 4 hours at the bar after work, come home and your last piece to your Buell attire(jacket) comes in the mail....

You GOT to try it on and make your wife take pictures while she laughs hysterically.

It took 3 times to take each pic from laughter.. No, these may not be funny to you though.. lol

Granted, I'm 6'3" 240lbs(beer gut). The jacket is a 50(2x) and fits perfect around the shoulders and arms, a little big on the sides, but fits good.

Pants are 42 and fit perfect also but with some room around the knee area. But i think fit great.

It will take me weeks to figure out how to join the jacket and pants together.. lol

Helmet is the AGV Buell helmet.

Backside...

Tramp Stamp....

And for your Photoshop pleasure............

Oh, and i don't wanna rub it in...cough, cough...

but i only paid $600 for ALL of it!!

That last pic makes it look like your horse was stolen . . . . very cool.

someone will soon be here to chastise you for not wearing boots.

I realize these are probably a size too big, but the next size down don't fit in certain areas.. best i can do without having a tailor made suit, or being anerexia.

I am torn... half of me says "hey, nice leathers. Way to ride safe". the other half of me says "really??? You just paid $600 (which is a bargin) to advertise BUELL on your back, forearms, thighs, head, and oh yeah on your BUTT???"

Lately I just have had a real hard time understanding why people will pay to advertise someone else's product on their clothing. I mean, is the polo shirt really worth $40 because it has Buell, or HD, or sports team, or _________ on it? Glad to see you are riding safe though. If you ever do go down (which I hope you never do!) maybe the 20+ logo patches all over your gear will offer you extra protection.

I am with Koz on the advertising…But getting new gear and trying it on is a funny exercise. A couple of years ago I went through this exercise and sat on my couch all geared up watching a movie and positioning myself to stretch and break them in.

She thought I was goofy!!!!!

Seriously though, the “badging” thing can get us all in trouble through guilt by association. How we act and look in public as individuals reflects in the publics eyes as our collective group.

We all know how it goes, we are out playing with our buddies and one thing leads to another. Next thing you know, group pier pressure has gotten you in over your head. Then it all goes wrong! You shout “Hey watch this”, and then it happens as if a deer’s last moments in the headlights of a semi, a humiliating public display of motorcycling gone wrong! 8>; )

So, there you are with Buell emblazoned on every limb and from every angle. Now I am labeled by the public as an insecure Buell owner trying to wiggle my way into the playground and dominate the other brands.

Moral: If we all wore nondescript gear, everything would remain the fault of the Hollister Laconia hooligan types; and if you are going to carry the flag, remember that you have it

Oh yeah, I got a Buell Jacket, a number of T-shirts, and a few other items. The last Buell clothing item I purchased or received as a gift was almost 2 years ago. The mark up is just way to crazy. Actually, if you look at most of my stuff it was purchased of the closeout rack (the cut tag inside is the tell tale sign).

My prefered riding gear includes a Joe rocket jacket with a Buell patch on the back, and on the sleeves a BRAG patch, a Pegasus patch, a M2 patch, and the Brew City Brag patch I designed when I rode with the club. Old Navy Jeans and hiking boots complete the gear. I do have some regular leather gloves, Joe Rocket riding pants, and a fleece hat for cold days. A HJC Helmet for trackdays and wet weather are also part of the collection.

I am proud to state I ride a Buell, but not on my butt.

I don't know how it plays out down there but here in Canada, I've found Buell branded clothing to be better priced. Yes, Adventure is cheaper than Joe Rocket. Turbulent worked out cheaper, too.

I don't think you can buy quality non-branded gear so you're stuck with advertising something. My wife's family is in the business so the branding fashions of the last 25 years really galls them.

I figure the price difference is my discount for advertising Buell.

Americanmadexb - Not knocking you personally. It is just a little to much for my taste. 10 "Buell" logos and 3 Pegasus is more tags then even my bike has.

I prefer to be a little more subtle

For the track...

I have Teknik leathers that are all black with a little bitty "Teknik" on the collar closer.I bought my bike on the road in Shreveport and didn't have any of my gear with me and they have a helmet law in Louisianna. This was a few days before the "anouncement" so I did get a black helmet that says Harley Davidson because it was the only convertable that fit.I hope I don't get my head chopped off by a fellow Bueller before I can get a new lid: )

Oh yeah, one of the first things I did was pull the Buell stickers off of my airbox.I just thought they looked kind of cheap on ole Red.I want to have something painted on the scoops.
