Twas the night of Thanksgiving and out of the house

Tiger Woods came a flyin', chased by his spouse.

She wielded a nine iron and wasn't too merry,

Cause a bimbo’s phone number was in his Blackberry.

He’d been cheatin' on Elin, and the story progressed.

Woman after woman stepped up and confessed.

He’d been cheatin’ with Holly, and Jaimee, and Cori,

With Joselyn, and Kalika. The world had the story.

From the top of the Tour to the basement of blues,

Tiger’s sad sordid tale was all over the news.

With hostesses, waitresses, he had lots of sex,

When not in their pants, he was sendin' them texts.

Despite all his cryin’ and beggin' and pleadin',

Tiger’s wife went investin' -- a new home in Sweden..

And I heard her exclaim from her white Escalade,

"If you’re gettin' laid then I’m gettin' paid."

She’s not pouting, in fact, she is of jolly good cheer,

Her prenup made Christmas come early this year.

I hope she takes him to the cleaners and leaves with all his money past, present, and future. Such a slime bag.

Why all the hate in that statement...it is not like he cheated on YOU...I don't get it, if it were reversed and Elin had the money, squeaky clean image and was caught blowing the pool boy would you be just as savage? Anyway....

I find it funny that many people are not pointing out the women he had his flings with KNEW he was married, KNEW who he was, and are now out to capitalize on their Warhol 15 minutes...how very Lewinski of them....anyway...well Greg, if you were just as savage I would have to admire your consistency at the very least. I think when you are a rich and famous guy so much trim is thrown your way it would get tough to say no, conversely, no matter how hot the chick is, somebody somewhere is tired of her $hit just like you are tired of the one you have, either at times or completely over it....who knows. I am surely not gonna hate on his personal life, pursuit of happiness and all, don't want to be his buddy either, cheating is a character flaw IMHO, if you want some new stuff, fine, leave the one you are with and do what you want.....alrght...well...happy whatever it is...cannot remember which PC slogan I am supposed to use here.....

Not saying what he did was right, but Tiger hasn't done anything worse than any other cheating spouse.

The difference? He has a lot more $$$ than the average Joe...

The good news . . . . witness O.J. . . .Michael Jackson and others . . . is that in America money can buy your way out of trouble.

Tiger will loose HUNDREDS of millions of dollars for his playing in the " pool". .. but . . . ignoring for a moment the emotional issues his kids will be burdened with for life . . . it won't hurt him a bit.

Shame he didn't screw at least one illegal alien or person deprived of FREE health care. He could have hit the trifecta of the new American dream.

It doesn't matter how much money you make or how much poon is thrown in your face, what Tiger did demonstrates a severe lack of personal character.

What is interesting is the complete lack of anyone in the golf community coming to defend him. They all KNEW he was a scum bag and don't see much benefit in saying good things about him that weren't true.

His wife may have been a 4 alarm bitch, but that doesn't give him the license to do what he did.

The real shame lies with the apologizers and excusers of his actions. Have we really come to expect so little of people?

I think every single one of them are glad to have him off the tour. Maybe not all for the same reasons.

>>>>Have we really come to expect so little of people?

That's what I was working toward. I see it every day. Folks "expecting" things, unwilling to work, to sacrifice and wanting to take the easy way.

There were a couple awesome letters in the Columbia Alumni magazine recently. They'd done an article about a gal from Eastern Europe who attended Columbia. In the article she was opining that she had "graduated from Columbia and couldn't understand the fact that she had not been showered with $250,000/yr offers of employment".

Some of the letters from Alumni were illuminating.

During the elections I'd, on a number of occasions, cited Lee Iaccoca's book "Where Have All The Leaders Gone?" I stand by that now and i'd include not only the current administration but most the prior administration. They are an embarrassment on several levels.

I feel lucky to have witnessed what my Dad and others did, not only in business, but in their personal lives. Success, to them, was unrelated to their personal financial statement. Financial success was a by-product, not the driver.

I see kids I go to school with who remind me of politicians. They think simply because they "are somebody" that they are entitled to something or to be treated differently. For the best example study Desirée Rogers, a perfect example of a personal wasteland parading about on your dime and your time.

For an "institutional" example take a look at the United States Postal Service or what some members of congress did a couple weeks ago on your dime.

The same thinking, with this "Since I am a looser, I am going to control how much you can earn" thinking is seeing a lot of very qualified folks simply walk away from major financial institutions. I find it ironic that the feds, after giving billions to a firm like AIG . . are now creating a situation where they want the company run by the "best person willing to work for $150,000/year". The fact that the best qualified have told the feds to go screw themselves is of little surprise.

I'm watching Tiger's sponsors. Even the most student "we're sticking with him" ones will weaken with time. Tiger has gum on his moral shoes and neither time nor money will make it go away.

I look at these things, both the Tiger ordeal and at some of our leaders, and ask myself "would I want my kids to act like that"?

It's really scary what a low threshold we have come to expect from our leaders and our heroes.

Sorry you asked?

: )

I may be a simple minded redneck...but my take on the whole Tiger Woods mess is simple.

When he got married, he swore in some form to "forsake all others"...OK...lets imagine that his wife is a four alarm biatch...if that is the case...and he wants "comfort" ....he should have manned up and divorced her first...but then again, maybe I'm just too old school and not "with it"...i dunno...I just believe a man should stand by his commitments...or relieve himself of them...

Alternative perspective, Tiger Wood's scandal:
Professional celebrities, like TW, earn their keep.
Perhaps, earning one's keep includes hosting/arranging special events for people deserving special treatment.
Perhaps, special events include special women?
Really, how many women can one man endure in his personal circle?
Even if he does hit a golf ball very accurately.

Tiger Woods, blah, blah. Who cares. I live my life and I really do not pay any attention to the lives of "celebrities". I do not read beyond the headlines of any celebrity "crisis". Golf is not a sport. Who cares. Merry Christmas.

Would these be the same best qualified people who ran the company into the ground?
