Since myself and a few others totally thread jacked a thread in the 1125 Forum... i figured i would just go ahead and make a thread here..

My Rides... Well i have a 85 Mustang SVO, that is true to form... before it tossed a rod... Old setup was a 2.3 liter 4cyl with a SC50 turbo, 28psi, 29* total timing, MAF conversion, Gutted upper intake and fully ported lower intake, Fully ported Head, Custom Cam, Bigger valves, rare = length tubular header, Full 3" exhaust dualled to 2.5"
Dyno Numbers were 438whp Corrected and 400+wtrq ... on 28psi of boost and 3 cans of torco /tank of gas (basically 104 octane)
Had a stock T5 trans (that i blew up) a 8.8 rear with 3.73's .
Best pass @ 375whp was 7.40@94 mph... approx 11.6X's @ 116mph 1/4 mile.. best mpg was 23 mpg and worst was 8 mpg....

Its clean but not flashy.
Kills included a couple 04 cobras, a slew of LSX rides and a 2008 R6..

And A Vid

Another Ride that i have that isn't really fast but surprisingly quick and unexpected is my 2007 Grand Cherokee... Turbo diesel

All stock except for a cone filter and a INmotion tune...
Stock dyno numbers were 211whp/353wtrq

After the tune i got 267Whp / 425Wtrq

it picked up 2 mpg on the average from the tune... so now my 4700lbs tow vehicle for the 1125 and the above mentioned SVO gets 25mpg crusing @ 70mph and recently managed 19mpg while towing 6k lbs..

I also had a stock baseline 1/4 mile run of 15.86 @ 84mph and after the tune it got a 14.88 @ 90mph.... so yea, the tune was worth it..

POST up your other rides gents, let see what we got.....

Can I do that to my 2.5 Ranger pickup??? Thats freakin awesome...

I don't own anything fast right now...but I have owned some old school "fast" cars...LS-6 Chevelle, and a LT-1 Vega were the fastest....but still not as Quick as that 2.3 turbo.

There is a guy that used to come to the dragstrip with a 2.3 turbo Pinto that kicked some serious ass....but the absolute BADDEST 4 banger I ever saw was a PuertoRican prostocker with a 471 Mercruiser engine....it ran deep 4's in 1/8th mile..at over 140....with what started out as a freakin boat engine..

YEs if you have a 2.5 ranger it can be done.... to do it right, won't be that expensive, but alot of labor, if your not willing to do it, then forget it...

Easiest way is to find a turbo setup out of a SVO or a 87-88 Tbird and swap it in. you will need a different exhaust manifold and Possibly may have to loose the a/c system...
then you just need a Computer and repin the harness.. it sounds like alot and it is, but nothing really to difficult..Pm if you need website to show you how...

Oh and my next engine is a similiar 4 cyl engine, just 2.8liters in a displacement and a 72mm turbo... I expect 550whp on pump and 700+whp on meth injection through an auto trans ; )

easy 9 sec ride...definitely more than enough to whip my 1125

Here's a graph of the SVO's progress over the course of 1.5 years....

Oh and it doesn't show 438 due to the crappy program i used to view these files, but i promise, it s all there ; )

Nice Pony!
On the weekends I rock the bash it up beat aroung off-roader, a 1995 Suzuki Sidekick Lmtd. It's got a 5-speed with a 1.6L 16valve I4 putting out a massive 95hp and 105lb/ft of stump pulling torque in a sub-2500lb package. It's metallic green, removable hard top, will go through ANYTHING, and has been tipped twice, once on both sides, in 30,000 miles due to shenanigans, and it is probably the best thing I have ever drifted (we have long slipery winters up here you know).

Kills include a drag race against my friends 96 Jimmy with the 4.3L Vortec, and the occasion Civic or other small car, and as of last weekend an epic drift battle through roughly 20-30 residential blocks against an 09 Subaru STi. After a half hour of going back and forth he spun it around and congratulated me
(Not mine, but the exact car)

My other ride is the slick-riding pimp mobile, my 93 Chrysler New Yorker Salon. She's got chrome all around, wood-grain in the dash, the single most plush and comfortable interior EVER, 2 15inch RE auido subs in the trunk (gotsta get loud you know), and the creme-de-la-creme, a 3.8L MOPAR V6.

Kills include (seriously, no joke) a few 80's Camaros and Firebirds (there's alot cruising around up here), numerous rice-burners, couple SUV's, buddy's Tibburon, and a couple more I know I'm forgetting. I love this car.

well my first car that i bought myself was a 93 YJ, till i put it in a ditch last winter (stupid ice and wind!!!) i hit a ditch doing about 40, and i bent the frame broke an engine mount, busted a my front leaf springs, my rear driveshaft slipped out, along with the dented side panels and all. it was a five speed with a rebuilt tranny that i put in it the spring before, it had a hardtop and full matching hard doors, it was such a sweet jeep!!!, i miss it so much!

after i put it in the ditch i bought two "parts jeeps" from a buddy of my dads, and then had three jeeps sitting in my back driveway, and was going to build one sweet jeep out of three, and after my dad and i took one apart, my dad realiezed he was lazy, and that this was a big project, so he said that i should just sell them, and buy a normal boring car, and then i could buy my own bike...so thats what i did, i sold them all via craigslist, and bought a 96 honda accord 5sd, and then bought my bike

Justa4 - great looking SVO. SUPER-clean. I like : )

I need to get some good pics, but....

89 Shelby CSX-VNT #135 of 500, one of 15 with both factory options, CS autographed my dash in 2001. Fiberide composite wheels, original body kit, 2.2 4 cylinder turbo with upgraded VNT60 Garrett turbocharger, 22psi with +20% injectors, 51,000 original miles.

1972 Plymouth Satellite station wagon (I know....). Currently running a 360/4bbl and has gone 13.40s at 113 in the quarter. 3.23 suregrip (factory) rear, 727 reverse-pattern automatic with 2400 stall converter. Stock body, full interior with gauges, wipers, lights - total street car. BUT....one of the first projects for my new garage when I find that bag-o-money and get it built is to put the 5.7 Hemi out of my wife's totaled Magnum R/T in it. Engine, harness, computers, 5 speed auto...it's all going in. And if it's not fast enough, it gets a procharger : ) Beating people in this beast is F-U-N!!

I also still own the first new car I ever bought - a 1991 Dodge Daytona C/S Competition Package car (under the cover next to the CSX). Basically a base Daytona with Shelby suspension, wheels, brakes, and powertrain. 2.5 4cyl turbo, Getrag 5 speed. Super 70 Garrett turbo, still running stock (14psi) boost on this one. 75k miles. Documented by Chrysler to be one of 150 total AGS Competition Package cars built, one of 26 with my options and colors.

Our workhorse is a 1962 (we think) M35A2 military deuce-and-a-half with winch. 6x6, loud, multifuel (runs on ANYthing - gas, diesel, kero, used motor oil....), and we use it to pull trees out of the ground on some land we're trying to get cleaned up. Top speed is in the 44mph range....but it'll pull whatever you want with you!

Oh...and the mom-in-law's 1961 Nash Metropolitan convertible.

All those are in storage (except the Deuce, we don't have a building big enough!); our drivers are her '03 Liberty Limited with 3.7, my beater 92 YJ Wrangler with 4.0 and 2" lift to clear 31s; and our '05 Cummins Ram 2500 4x4 quad cab longbed automatic. 30psi boost bone stock - pulling a car trailer, this truck will do a block-long burnout. THAT'S FUN!!! : )

Haha Bads, I beat you in a drift battle!! Just kidding tho, STi's are sweet as hell. I had the privilage to drive an '08 money-is-no-object STi that was a customers in the car audio shop where I worked. I don't know the specifics, but from what I understand he had the biggest turbo, intercooler, exhaust, heck the biggest everything you can get for a WRX. I had to take it around the block to test the removable box setup I built for him. For his sake I had to make sure it wouldnt slide around in quick accel and snappy maneuver situations...

Needless to say, I've been in a few fast cars, but this thing made my buddies stock STi seem like a Geo Metro. I actually hurt my neck launching it becuase I wasnt ready for the whiplash...

I just bought a Ford Focus . . kinda as a joke since the new CLK350C doesn't come out until April.

My wife has been driving it for a week now and absolutely loves it.

Costs about $55,000 less than the CLK she just got rid of and surprised us with heated leather seats, Sirius, Sync, sunroof and a kick ass 350w stereo that automatically links to my iTunes when I am sitting in the car.

And . . . . drum roll . . is getting 35.2 MPG and has the "Euro suspension" . . no clue what that is but it drives fabulously.

I may not be able to pry it away from her in the spring.
