I'm a tight bastard, yes it's true.
I hate buying things when I can use old crap that I already have to do the job.

So how do you recycle stuff?

I'll kick off with a seasonal one, my Christmas Tree stand.
It's a slightly bent M2 front rim.

Come on now, whatcha got?

You just wait till I get home Grumpy, then you'll see my ridiculous re-use of stuff LoL. For now however, I give you a picture of my tech-bench at work. The 2 fans under my monitor are from old power supplys (I wanted big ones) and they are jerry-rigged into a molex connector for power. Not only do they keep me cool with a nice steady breeze (it's relaxing lol) they hold up my monitor and make it 'float' above my comp. Yes yes yes, I know it's geeky and not half as cool as your christmas tree holder, but it's all I got at work.

No no, that's entirely in the spirit of things.
