While its cool, its totaly redundant and a waste of just about everything it took to make, in the sence that it caries only one, mabe a couple could hang on somewhere, unless it pulls some trailer or aparatus? otherwise, wouldn't a dirt bike work a hundered times better and use less resorces? Faster and lighter as well as more agile.

it's actually quite useful read the wikpedia thing I was impressed. The paratroops and mountain troops used them to tow light artillerey and string com cable and it will top out at like 40mph for a 70 year old piece its pretty cool.

I had the pleasure of talking to a fella who restored a Kettenkrad a few years ago and even take a peer at it. The hardest piece to find during the restoration for him was the front tire assembly. His came in from Europe and was used as a tracked farmtractor for years. In the end it turned out pretty nice though,




There is one sitting at Bills Bike Barn in Bloomsfield, PA on display.
