The story is about a young Korean man who decided to come to the states to ride a Honda Ruckus all across America, but told his family he was going to Canada to study abroad. It has been a pretty good read so far. I hope you enjoy it...

I used to frequent TR, as we used to own a couple of Honda Mets.

sounds like he'll have a great journy, but no way in hell would I want to ride cross country on one of those little things!

Hasn't almost everybody who likes to ride motorcycles wanted to do a cross country trip for an extended period time? I also think I would not want to do interstate highways on that Honda but, if you really want to see the country.....? How about the secondary blacktops on that? Or, how about doing it on a Buell Ulysses with a few backroad excursions? Bob

That would be a fun ride for about the 1st 10 minutes. Then I would want more power.

Delta_one,
Funny you should pick up on that line. As I was reading his thread, when I came across that statement..... I just sat in awe.....there are so many freedoms we could enjoy if only we would.

My favorite picture so far is this one....

college... road trip.... if I could do it all over again, I think 40K for a 4 year road trip would have been epic. probably would have changed who I am now.

Good for him, I say! It's nice to see an optimist with a can-do attitude like this guy just doing his thing. I'm jealous.

I'd love to have a Derringer bike, I'd hack the spark arrestor off though and fab some sort of megaphone pipe on it. Do some sort of old warplane art on the tank, ooh yeah I'd be big pimpin' then.
