Yes - the 18th will be THE LAST DAY of Buell MoCo as we knew it. Buell is having a "Good Bye" lunch at Roma's restaurant in East Troy. I'm going to call them at noon WI time on the 18th and relay a short "thank you" message since this will be the LAST time there will ever be that many of the Elves in one place EVER AGAIN. http://www.romaswi.com/ (262) 642-5353 Romas does not list a fax number or email contact - but they DO have a "feedback" link that could be used if you wanted to send a note (or so I think) http://www.romaswi.com/feedback.html Mark Galluzzo - owner of Roma's can be contacted through the East Troy Chamber of commerce: https://secure.chambermaster.com/directory/jsp/inf oreq/consumers/ContactMember.jsp?ccid=476&memid=11 3&repid=113 Yes, Buell as we KNEW it is ending - Erik Buell Racing is writing a new chapter. Gonna get COOLER by the day - but it does hurt to know how many good people are hitting the street as a result of Hardley's decision. |

I'll be at Roma's tomorrow with Brewcity for their Christmas Party. Wonder if we can leave a card there for them? Anyone want their name added, post it here. |

I know everyone means well, but maybe this should be a private time for Erik (if he is going) and the coworkers/employees of Buell. Just a thought. Disclaimer: Rocketsprink made sure to point out that Erik doesn't work for Buell anymore and I have no idea if he will be there. (Message edited by dentguy on December 12, 2009) |

Leaving a card is not very intrusive, if you ask me. Also, they'd have it at the factory if they wanted it to be private, not at a local restaurant. That being said, I'll go find a Thank You card, and add names of those that post here. |

Erik doesn't work at BUELL anymore, last I checked. I didn't say Erik still worked there, but they were his coworkers/employees of the company. There you go Johnny detail, I fixed it for you to be clear. I think you know what I meant. Also, they'd have it at the factory if they wanted it to be private, not at a local restaurant. Do you know that for a fact? As for the card, I didn't say a card was intrusive, but if you think a get together can't be private if it's at a restaurant, you don't get it anyway. My post was just a thought. Ignore it if you want. I don't know anything about the lunch or who will be there, but if it's a company lunch, I say it's private. |

You got one part right. I will ignore you. Thank God I'm Johnny Detail, cause I'm planning Homecoming for everyone here. I also happen to know Erik and many BUELL employees and know they'd appreciate it. There. Fixed it for you. |
