About a month ago a number of badwebbers took ASE tests, and I was wondering how many passed. This was my first try, and I got my Parts Specialist cert, WooHoo!

Took the ASE tests in the early 1980s (back then it was ASME). Was certified in nine different categories.

Thanks folks! I am rebuilding a career, used to be a journeyman glasier, but got vibration related Reynaud's syndrome from removing windshields, and can't carry insulated units or large plates of glass any more. (Coincidentally, I installed the storefront on the building I am working in now!) I've been wrenching on/building bikes since I was 12, so mechanical stuff comes pretty natural. So far, so good!

I'm still waiting on my results. According to the website, they should be up by the 19th. I hate playing the waiting game.
Congrats to all who got their certifications.

Congrats Treefrog! The one thing I will say about the ASE's is book smart won't get it. You have to have the experience to back it up if your gonna pass those tests.
