I miss the 990's.

The new rules are a bit restrictive.

I've never been a fan of inline 4's...even the new 1000's. You want crazy power from 4K up ride a 1098 or 1198. The inlines don't compare. For me, the I-4 1000's want to wheelie and spin at the most inopportune of times. Twins and triples just suit my riding style.

That's for sure. I tried to ride a ZX10 at the track and my brain got overloaded immediatly because the power was just too difficult to deal with while leaned over. I was happy to be back on my XB where I could run WFO most of the way around the track without worrying about high siding.

I like the Exotics. the Honda five was cool.

I think Moto GP needs to be different, with cool new technology from the factories. If they are just 1000 fours, might as well, just watch Superbike....REX

The only bikes on the grid that didn't run 4 cyl was Honda with their V5. Ducati was running a 4 cyl. A V4 and that will be the configuation Ducati will continue to run. Maybe Honda will return to the V4 if they stay in MotoGp.

How about if they are 100lbs lighter and have 50-75 more horsepower than WSBK? If you could then ditch the damn traction control you'd see some real men finishing in the top 5!

I just the 50cc bonneville tape again, loved listening to the shift point about one a minute till 5th gear and shut was cool a couple of fast down shift or two and some backfires. The course looked real rough.

You forgot about Aprilia. They developed the cube, a 990cc triple with big power that was nearly unrideable. Suzuki had their V4 and Honda the V5. Aprilia could return to Motogp with their new V4 production based motor, if they can afford it.}

Especially when it caught fire while riding!
