If snow scares you, contact Froggy. We have a little snow on the ground where I am and have seen at least 2 bikes (not Buells) out in it! |

I'm with Buellhusker on this one. My bikes are tucked away too. I can't ride on post if it's below 32 degrees. It's a "Safety Hazard". |

Froggy what is that bike? It looks Beemer-esque. We have a forecast of 10 to 14 inches of snow starting tomorrow around noon to wed night. Only 12 inches i am going to see for a while. (Message edited by Whatever on December 07, 2009) |

No clue, first hit on Google for Motorcycle Plow. Probably a Ural. Just another reason to get one |

Google images sez it a Zundapp. It was a 750 cc wartime model and I would imagine because its in civilian paint, then it is probably post war |

I always liked the Indian accessory skis. They drop down by pulling a lever or something.... ~SM |

My record was 9 degrees above zero, one year on the Crotona Midnight Run. Not on a Buell, though. |

I've been down into the low 20's a few times, snow on the ground. Not bad if you dress right. |

I would settle for four inches twice at this point! Speaking of riding in snow... only done it once and that was enough... and it was May in Wisconsin. That is why they call it the Slimey Crud Run!

I'll give you twelve inches...now if I could just remember where I put my ruler... Coldest was -9 with a windchill of -16, definitely NOT by choice. It was 15 when I left the house...also ridden in snow, roughly 2 inches and blizzard conditions. It was sunny when I left the house all of my inclement weather riding has been in a Buell saddle |

Used to have to kickstart a 1990 Suzuki DR650 after work, 'round midnite or 1am in the winter. One nite it was in the mid-low teens and blowing wind. After 10-15 minutes, it finally fires up, by then I'm in flop sweats in my coveralls. Let's see some more winter riding rigs! Man I love the practical minds of those early bikers, putting a snowplow on the front of a sidecar rig! Skis/outriggers on a bike! KEWWLL!!! |

I always liked the Indian accessory skis. They drop down by pulling a lever or something.... I used to have a set of skies for the Indian Warror like those shown in your picture. They worked by standing on them when needed and they were retracted by springs when you could ride without the ski stablizers down, biggest problem was getting traction to get moving with the skis down. I actually raced a TT-Warror for two years and beat many 500cc Triunphs & BSA Gold Stars at the scramble tracks. They had a POS Wilco mag and they were dam hard to start. |

76* and partly cloudy...Not bad if you dress right "How are those twisties treating you in Florida?" You do realize that the gate that locks us all up in Florida(like we can't venture out), open up when you guys get better weather. Any riding is better than no riding. |
