Having worked for HD, I am not that surprised. You hear a bunch of rumors, think of a bunch of possible options, and what ends up happening is some off the wall, left field move. Buell dropped, Wrecking Crew dropped, Facebook post about racing, and I just can't wait to hear what their knee-jerk reaction will be towards the year end report. I will guess no more VRods.

It's sad to say, but I sincerely hope that it gets worse for HD so that it can get better.
This is how lessons get learned, and one is sorely needed. |

from HD's own marketing research stated that the brand is still strong and desired among their "Core Customer".
Thats like the former CEO of GM saying he did a good job, because he still got his million dollar bonus!! |

HD was best when it was a scrappy underdog striving to build the quintessential American story.
Now it has become a hollow monument to its own past.
