We welcome any Buell riders who want to join us at Triumph events. Our dealers host regular rides and other activities and if you would like to find out more, you can get details at a local Triumph dealer.

I already did I'm riding some next year.

Had a few Triumphs years ago (60s and 70s models), unless Erik comes up with something for the street, my next new bike will be a Triumph.

That's really nice, and as a British Bueller I feel welcomed by their offer.

There's no question from my own observations as an 11 years Buell owner, Erik Buell is a very well respected engineer and highly thought of over here. MCN as an example, and because they're a more public face you'd connect with, have given Buell great press these past few years. But somewhat off the beaten track, engineers, motorsport outfits, all places really, if Erik is known to them they recognise his engineering prowess usually.

My last bike before my Uly was a Triumph and unless Buell Racing is able to morph into something that can make a replacement for the Uly a Triumph will probably be my next bike. And I think they (Triumph) are right, both companies make bikes that have soul.

(But I have my fingers crossed and hope and pray for a Uly replacement)

Excellent move on their part. It's classy and it opens the door to welcome a bunch of potential new customers.

Triumph already makes bikes that should appeal to Buell riders (unique, street-oriented, mostly naked, no inline-4s, not Japanese, etc.). It's a smart thing for them to now reach out to "homeless" Buell fans.

May be seemingly classy, but it is a huge marketing ploy. They want you to buy your next new bike at a Triumph dealership. And as said, since Triumph makes some nice machines, it is not a stretch of the imagination to convert more than a few people.

Sorry to be the cynic but this is mostly a well timed marketing ploy.

Just because it's marketing doesn't mean it's not genuine. While there have been three Buells in my garage prior to the '08 XB12R in there now, there have been four Hinckley Triumphs parked in the space where my '09 Street Triple R currently resides. Triumph knows that their customers and Buell riders are of the same ilk- and it is both smart and honorable for them to market to Buell enthusiasts. John Bloor continues to command my respect.

Sure it's designed to get new customers, but they hit the bullseye. I'd bet that their marketing group really does/did consider Buell a close competitor. I think it's kind of cool.

Triumph or BMW will be my next ride if Buell doesn't start building street bikes again.....

I think I see a Triumph demo ride in my future.

They want you to buy your next new bike at a Triumph dealership.

I more than likely will anyway, since there's a small Triumph dealer locally that's been more Buell-friendly and congenial than most HD dealers I've visited. They never pressure me to buy anything and just like to talk bikes.

HD makes nothing that attracts me and if I were into cruisers then Triumph is where I'd be. Maybe we'll be lucky and Buell will reincarnate as did Triumph.

+1 on earning points for me.

Likely a marketing ploy, but I do agree that both manufacturers have had unique and innovative offerings and a loyal core base, and in my opinion both companies have been held in high esteem. I like the attitude and they've gained a bit more of my respect.
