You can only see the board if you're logged in, and threads can't be started there. They can only be moved there from other sections by an admin. Bill | ||

I can't see the Backfire Board whether I'm logged in or not. I got banned from the Backfire Board many years ago because I'm too political. That's like banning a prostitute from the red light district! It doesn't make any sense! But it doesn't matter much since BadWeb seems to have turned into a purely political forum anyway. Not that there's anything wrong with that!  | ||

Wrong again my Socialist friend. Badweb is a great way to post pix about our super cool rides through the Sierras and to boast about our superior drinking exploits (after kickstands down, of course). Badweb is a fun place and only gets political when we are bored. Sort of like General Grant in between battles. You might not know this but Backfire becomes super tame and boring after a thread lands there out of the clutches of subversives like you.  | ||

Only about 1 in 10 threads on the quick board are political. Out of the 28 sections on Badweb, the only two that contain political threads are Quick board and Backfire board. It is rare, but has happened that a thread in another section has turned political. Either way, my point is that if you are only seeing political threads, you aren't looking around much. | ||

Grow the •••• up. Didn't you guys notice the and "Not that there is anything wrong with that" is a quote from Seinfeld. Seinfeld was a very popular sitcom in the 1990s. "sitcom" is short for "situation comedy". Sitcoms primary purpose is entertainment through the use of comedy and humor. Hyperbole is often used in comedy. Hyperbole means exaggeration. I often use hyperbole in my posts. When you see a symbol such as that is a hint that what I am posting is not meant to be taken literally but is intended as a joke. Comedy doesn't work all that well if it has to be explained in so much detail. Try to develop a sense of humor. It can be a wonderful thing. | ||
