Friday, November 20, 2009 Steve Fermier and WGAL TV WBAL's Steve Fermier reports on the tentative contract settlement Hundreds of Harley-Davidson workers are looking over copies of the tentative contract reached between union leaders and officials with the company. The contract, said to cover 7 years, includes a provision that would keep the motorcycle assembly plant in Springettsbury Township. The company had been looking at a possible site in Kentucky. The workers are looking the deal over at the York Fairgrounds. The plant employs more than 2,000 people just outside of York. The company had been considering a move to Kentucky or Illinois. A vote by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers is set for December 2. The sportster plant is going to go to madrass India I can feel it. Big buisness does not fear the goverment they will not do anything to stop it. Harley davidson has yet to prove to me they can do the right thing anywhere so I a am going to go on believing THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
