WBAL's Steve Fermier reports on the tentative contract settlement

Hundreds of Harley-Davidson workers are looking over copies of the tentative contract reached between union leaders and officials with the company.

The contract, said to cover 7 years, includes a provision that would keep the motorcycle assembly plant in Springettsbury Township.

The company had been looking at a possible site in Kentucky.

The workers are looking the deal over at the York Fairgrounds.

The plant employs more than 2,000 people just outside of York.

The company had been considering a move to Kentucky or Illinois.

A vote by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers is set for December 2.
