I'm really disgusted by our government. It's been what...9 years since the 2000 election debacle and we still can't get it right. Regardless of party affiliation, everyone should be ashamed.

Looks like the concession speech was a little premature. What are the rules on that?

The real issues are with brand new touch screen booths built since the 2000 "reform" laws. I know this part of NY is still transitioning from mechanical booths to electrofails.

I went to the voting gizmo demo, along with the election volunteers. Some of the new ones have no paper trail. Recount? It's what's on the printout, that's it.
Lots of money in new voting machines. For the politicians too if rumor is true.

Keep us posted on how it goes. It was a REAL long shot having a name no one had heard 30 days prior against a seasoned veteran . . .eager to see how this plays out.
