If I was gonna buy a bike today, it'd be another XB9-motored bike (2008+)

I've already got an XB. I'd like a track bike and a Dual Sport to complete the set.

Hey what's wrong with the 9?

That guy in the picture above looks to be "bike curious".

+1 Slaughter. An XB9S variant with the new oiling system might very well be the best Buell ever built (IMHO).

Did the STT ever intersect with the new oiling system? It's a 12, not a 9, so it's not perfect, but it's close ; )

08 STT had the updated oiling, bigger bearing etc. The 09 SS is the same as 08 STT. (suspension, engine, frame) Just different plastics and a ztl2.

If you want a 9 with the latest oiling get and 09 city x.

oops, drifted off topic.......... blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

Funny thing is, here in the mountains of Colorado where the inspiration for Southpark began, there are plenty of Harley's and a few Buells too with Drummer, D&D or other exhaust, that the local establishments enjoy taking money from.

I went on a faggot ride today, and it hit every cliche in that south park episode.

First, it started at a bar where bikers parked where ever they pleased. This included parking in customers at a deli next to the bar, forcing the owner of the deli to come out and ask for the bikes to be moved.

Then, there were a lot of loud bikes, revving and moving real slow for no reason.

After that was a slow and herky jerky but supremely loud ride along the river, past hundreds of people enjoying a beautiful fall day and the waterfowl migration.

I stayed on that ride for about 30 minutes, then decided i needed a different route. Along my new route, i was passed (in town) by a neon colored, drag piped radical chopper. This guy would slow down next to cars he was passing, and look over at them as he revved his engine and passed them, just to make sure they were looking at him.

Was all of this life imitating art? Is South Park art?

I would have flipped him off. After watching the Southpark episode I probably would have rolled down the window and yelled F U FAG! Guys like that make me wish I could fire an iron pipe into his spokes to make him crash.

I think it is more a case of parody of life as opposed to life imitating art.

And for the record, yes I did go out of my way to buy a bike that came with the stock muffler. Then had to track down the parts to install said muffler. Just trying to say that I'm not a hypocrite.

Just saw episode. Laughed my a$$ off.

Maybe this will be the new meme. Gays can finally get a new insult word. The old one was used for useless people for decades before it unfairly picked on interior designers.

Fag no longer means gay, it means narcissistic a--hole. Thank you South Park.

You have to keep the sense of humor alive. No, I don't have a fag engine in my Cyclone. Yes, the idiot 3 houses up that runs his thunder pipes without baffles up & down the Street, is probably a fag, but I'll reserve judgment.

All that is Harley is not fag. Those who are all harley, may be. Owning a wide glide has nothing to do with your sexuality. What makes me mock you is you, not your gear. ( that said, feel free to mock H-D management. They deserve it, the fags.

There are a few Harley riders out there that are real riders. They have fuel exhaust systems on there bikes, they wear real gear, and ride in all types of weather. These Harley owners are not fags.

Fortunately for me, every day since watching this episode, I have had the opportunity to say to myself "blurblurblurblur". It really makes your day.

So HD thinks they can save their collective asses by shuttering Buell and selling off MV Augusta, huh?

Well, in this case, karma has a way of righting the ethical wrongs that HD has recently committed as parodied in this SP episode.

Just think that it's HD's executives being depicted instead of Harley riders and it all makes more sense.

I have the least available Buell race exhaust for the 2006 XB9 on my bike.... it sounds pretty rough, but that could be from the dents I put in from riding over the rocks and debris.

It was supposed to go back to the factory after they quit producing them.... perk of the last job, its on the bike.

brapbawahbllebumphorumph
And if that aint loud enough to get some attention, I do have the thunder header on the 883. Sumnabiatch, I need to call Dr Phil, it looks like I am conflicted with FAG tendancies.

It was tough to be at the dealer party today with 1313, Webe and John, Bubba Blackwell performed various stunts on various hd & Buell machines, The Blast was gone, he told us that this was the last year for Buells in the show, today was the last show of the year,

The buells were battered, and worn
he had 2 new young "costars" doing some amazing stuff on their buells,

Their fitting departure was the ROAR of american Vtwin Engines the squall of spinning tires, and a dense archid bank of white smoke as the 3 Buells destroyed their rear tires in unison.

as we left the show and the harley riders left revving their bikes with their loud pipes all that came to mind was

blubbblubbblaaabblaaabblaaab

- fags....

We had waaaay to much fun doing Blubb-Blubb I guess you had to be there.

Its going to be tough to go to the dealer now with no new buells to look at and lust after,

Nailed on the MFing head!

I have been to one big bike rally, Thunder Beach in Panama City.
I hated it.
Nothing but guys posing next to their bikes or riding 5mph, holding up traffic and revving the shit out of their open exhaust motors.
I had a cramp in my left hand trying to ride just a couple of miles down the beach.
Seriously I couldn't idle my S2T slow enough to keep from running over all the Harleys and choppers, Clutch in, clutch out, clutch in, clutch out.
Pissed me off, and I've never been to another rally.
I'd much rather go to Buelltoberfest where the agenda is "lets go ride!" not "look at me!"

I had that same sick sensation today. I know we are getting a shipment of 18 new Buells, but I know the end is near.

This morning there were two V-Rods and one XR1200 in the "Buell Row". I wanted to cry. Reminded me of the assembly line where they feed live chickens into one end and slaughter them. It was all the models that are destined for death.

We will continue to beg, borrow, and steal new Buells until the MoCO tells us we can't have them or until there simply aren't any more.

Somehow, I imagine myself to be one of the knights of the last bastion of Buelldom, defending the walls against the marauding hordes until the last arrow is flung and the last stone catapulted.

I can hear them coming!

Brubrubrubrubrubrubrubrubrubrubrubrubrub!

Until then, come visit. See what might have been.

Had a FAG moment today! 70+ degrees today here and everyone who had a bike was out. Not me, I'm running errands in a minivan cause I don't have a bike. So, I'm all pissed off at the world and pull up to a light. And there they were, 4 fags all decked out. Then I notice 1 bike has training wheels, not a trike, but training wheels!?!? The entire South Park episode flashes thru my head while LMAO and the guy behind me honks to let me know our light had changed.
My bad.

That was probably that quick attach/detach trike conversion. Yep, it's like training wheels.

Ok, we need some cheap chinese made rubber poop with little fag flags.
