The MSF course I teach is Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.

Fatty is right about our sight, the bikes suck, but our site is independent (not associated with a dealer). We do the best we can with the bikes.

Other MSF sites locally are connected with a dealer and have the luxury of a full time team of mechanics, office staff, and such. We don't.

We are very affordable. We charge $195 for the class. Most sites are charging $250.

I've put 10,000 miles on my 2003 RE Blast with only one issue: The battery died yesterday morning.

It's been a great bike. Ride the thing first and make sure it runs well, otherwise the biggest problem you'll likely have is scratched plastic, a few dents and maybe a slight oil leak.

Chad I wouldn't hold my breath on a good group of mechanics some dealers have good set up others don't do so well and I know one guy who got burned out because that's all he worked on were the Blasts. He wound up being an instructor too. It all depends on the program and how they got it together. I've worked at 4 HD dealers and everyone is a little bit different: )

Rainman then damn Buells are like Timex watches they keep ticking don't they?

I couldn't imagine an easier production street bike to work on than a Blast.

God knows I've tried to kill mine a couple of times, but it just won't stop. Of course, I promised it when I drove it out of the dealership "No more students! Just open roads and heavy traffic."

It seemed to like the idea because I caught it doing 80 mph over a mountain pass as we went home. It's been too much fun ever since.

Price?

WTF!!!

Wow, I picked up a 03 Blast back in June with 1902 miles, it ran like crap cause it sat for years with stale gas. Never been down as far as I could tell, so I bought it $1500 and rode it like I stole it to clear the bad gas out. 95% good as new, I think it still needs the carb boot replaced, which I have in my garage. : )

YES! I'm gonna take the cue of the other Blast-riding McKenzie on Bad Web and take mine on a 12-hour tour to Michigan this summer.

You don't go on tour with the bike you want, you go on tour with the bike you've paid off.
