I've been in the maintenance field in the Army for over 22 years now. Finally, my schedule has worked out to allow me time to catch a test session.
I'm taking A5 and A1 tomorrow and A2 and A3 next week.
Good luck to anyone that's taking em.

Don't let the trick questions trick you.
Most are general Questions.Don't over think, usually your first thought is right.

Good Luck!

I used to have Engine Performance, Engine repair, Engine diagnostics (when that was a new certification), and Alternative Fuels. Let them all lapse in the mid-90's.

ASE testing will test you for sure. I kept my certs up for years but in our trade I-CAR has become the required card. I-CAR used to be all classroom training and then you had to ASE test for your certification. With I-CAR now testing all of their training courses most have let their ASE expire. But ASE is still the litmus test for any good wrench. A lot of folks in the collision trades would like to see the I-CAR testing transfer to ASE. ASE certainly separates those who think they can from those who actually know how.

Good luck Treefrog!

Re-upped my Master Certification and L-1 a couple of years ago.

Technicians A and B, gotta love 'em!

Technician A wants to use a customer's Jaguar to make a beer run, possibly involving hookers.
Technician B wants to know if Technician A's sister asked about him.

Who is more correct?

A: Technician A only
B: Technician B only
C: Both A and B
D: Neither

Mnrider - remember when your ASE ticket number was your Social Security Number? Posted in the lobby of the service department, for all to write down?

Ah, the good old days.
