I thought some of you might also be interested in this little rig I made for shooting video and stills simultaneously.

You can buy flash extenders and dummy shoes at the camera shop.

Then I fashioned a bit of flat steel to suit the slot and, well the video isn't as good as a dedicated shoot, but for a one-man band it works OK if the main brief is good quality stills.

I love how you can hear the shutter snap open on the video.

Neat idea!

Love that old Iron. Don't look like they are showing any mercy out on the track knowing how hard it is to source parts for them vintage bikes.

There is a lot of 'Burt Munro' in these blokes.

If they can't source what they need - they make it. Even cranks.

They get along too.

We've just had the Hampton Downs - a world class track - opening near Auckland. I was pinning a GSX-R600 around it at the opening day, thinking I was doing pretty good pace-wise, when Andrew Stroud, the national champion and occasional SBK rider, blew me away on a 50 year old Macintosh Norton.

Very cool! Never seen that before, and I've seen a lot of photo gear. Nice job.
