I really do listen to just about anything except urban/rap/hip hop crap. My 8Gb jumpdrive goes with me everywhere. I have a usb port in my Superduty stereo so I really don't listen to too much radio. My head unit is also an HD radio. Unfortunately, down here in lower Alabama, there is only one HD station and it is out of Troy State University. It is all classical. I actually like classical music when I am in the mood. I like the presence of classical music. My play list goes from Disturbed to Bread (I was born in the early 60's so I like the old stuff) to Metallica to George Strait to The Cars, Ted Nugent and Blue Oyster Cult.

I agree with anything Taylor Swift- I am sick of her voice.

Rodney Atkins- "Going through hell". I hate that song.

ANY rap/hip/hop/urban music......

I'm not impressed by XM Radio. My wife loves it in our Denali but I think the sound quality sucks. Even with the Bose system in the vehicle. Anything else sounds awesome but the XM quality sucks IMO. I use a portable receiver on our boat and it sounds OK but I'm not a fan.

+1 on the commercials
anything that is "rap" or alternative
I listen to Slacker.com on both my phone, and in my garage on the laptop, like pandora, for about $35 a year, you get no commercials and can select what you like and don't like.

Ya know, I really LOVE all kinds of music. I have tons of just about everything from all over the world. From classical to Death Metal...I can dig it.

What REALLY gets me is punk music. Most of it I just cannot stand to listen to. That and the "Ska" variations.

And whatever the hell that song was that came out earlier this year... "Or are we human, or are we dancers..." I wanted to vomit every time I heard that crap.

Metallica's new album has been pumping in my garage almost every weekend. I am VERY happy that they are embracing some of their older traditions.

I have an old double-tape 'boom box' in the garage that gets turned on 2nd after the lights. It's on the local classic rock station. But when Elton John comes on, I drop tools and run, stumbling over transmissions and parts to the radio to switch it to tape and play the 'emergency Elton John tape'.... which is KISS Dressed to Kill. I also have Metallica Garage Days Re-revisited $5.98 EP in case there's a marathon or something.

Any new/young country or any of that smooth r&b crap! PUKE!!!

The garage needs to be filled with old punk rock (DK/Bad Brains), rockabilly (Rev Horton Heat/Southern Culture on the Skids), or instrumental surf (Los Straitjackets/Man or Astroman)!!! Occasionally some hard industrial (NIN/Ministry)!

"Pandora.com
plug a bunch of stuff in (seeds) and see what comes out. The more you tell it what you do and don't like the better it gets"

+1000

Pandora for Blackberry.. no idea how I ever lived without it. I use it for music in the car, garage, at work, everywhere.

Show me Dashboard Confessional, Jo De Messina, Marylin Manson, Audio Adrenaline, and CCR - all on the same FM station.

Sorry man, the only use I have for radio these days is as a device for playing via FM xmitter my accumulated 21.2 days of instrumental surf, exotica, and old school 60's instrumentals from the iPod to the boom box on wheels in the back yard or the old garage. Vocals just get in the way of good music, IMHO!
