I know there's places online I can store pics for freinds and family to look at, but not sure where or how that works. It w9ould be nice if I could have seperate files, maybe need password, and be able to resize and post to badweb..any advice?

I love Flickr. I have a Pro ($30 per year) account that gives me unlimited pictures, videos, sets, and collections.

I can set password protected sets or public sets.

Flickr

If you get the pro account you can upload huge pics then take the resized ones and \ imagelink { URL } to Badweb.

Or do like I do and put a big Dell server in your basement. ; )

Photobucket. You can have private albums password protected. They have some basic editing stuff, and best of all it's free.

Really? Had no idea on that one.

I'll second Smugmug. I'm using it for a third storage backup also. Take advantage of that unlimited storage!

I just started using Google's photo-hosting site. Seems pretty intuitive. My hosting site (Villagephotos.com) - is painful some times. I wouldn't recommend them.

Go look and see what you think:

Picasa is OK - Flickr does better slide shows and has more goodies.
