I did this last year after the death of a good friend, Greg Holman. He was a fellow Buell nut and racer. Seems kinda fitting that I ran across this on youtube looking under "Buell" on search. Kinda dated, and some pics are repeats, but the song is pretty fitting.

I can't remember who it was, but i believe that red xb everyone was working on was someone who broke down at Homecoming and some of the Buell racers came to the rescue.. Too Cool!!!

I was the one that gave up the spot for my race bike so we could get his bike fixed. I believe he rode up from Texas

Yup, the guy was from Texas. We never did get his name. That was a late night workin on that thing!

Love that video! Lots of good friends and great memories in those pics.

i can't remember but i think it had something to do with the throttle body? Hell i can't remember

I think the brackets holding the throttle cables broke and sheared the pin holding the butterfly plate in the TB?
Something like that. Henry Duga was convinced it was caused by the aftermarket handlebars putting stress on the bracket because they stretched the cables to their limit.

That's what it looked like to me too. The bars were a really wide motocross/dirt track style bar. The cables were pulled pretty tight.
