Somebody posted a photo taken at the factory on Sunday showing a LOT of crated Buells in the fenced storage area. My guess would be yes unless they were all shipped this week. | ||

No info, but I think they are out there. I posted in that other thread with the pic that it would be smart for the mother ship to hold off on the 2010's and deep discount they 08's and 09's. It would clear the old stock. If that's the case, it is definitely working. Then the 2010's that are more desirable show up. Great way to clear them all out. Just my opinion. We'll see how it goes. | ||

A dealer told me today, he thinks we will see these sale prices again on the 2010's after the dealers are done with the 08-09's. | ||

Yup, I took this pic last Saturday on my farewell trip to see it before it closes since I can't make the group trip.  I don't know if there were bikes in them or not, but there were a ton of crates! | ||

My dealer told me they ordered 3 2010 1125Rs today and will be offering them at $6500 each. I am still looking for a great deal on a white 09 though, since the blue just fits me better. Anyone know of one in the OH, IN, IL, WI area? | ||

Talked to my dealer today and this is what I was told: There are something like 790 2010 units that have not been shipped yet (I don't remember the exact number - it was less than a thousand, though). Dealers are allowed to put in orders for all they want, and once the orders are in, the factory will distribute them as they see fair. Bottom line, there are 2010's to be had. No idea what the model mix for those that are left, and just because you put in an order doesn't mean you'll get one. My guess is they're trying to stop dealer's from putting in order for 20 bikes and hoarding them. In other news, my buddy picked up a 2010 Firebolt today, the only 2010 my dealer had gotten and planned on getting, though they have some orders for more bikes in. |
