With things being what they are now, does anybody know the folks in Europe who developed this software? I'm just wondering if maybe somebody can contact the developer and ask he rescind his request/order to stop distributing the software. I have the cable and SW already, but I'm sure it would be helpful to those who now might tackle things they previously wouldn't have touched.

I believe the decision to discontinue EcmSpy was made as the result of certain legal issues

The creator posts on here under the ID of Gunter. I don't think he is going to continue development anytime soon.

Read co-author ("Gunter") and at least one co-author are at work on an update of ECM Spy Tuning Guide.
