Kim and I are trying to figure out where we're going to book a room.

Let's use this thread to share where all us badwebbers will be staying for the event. We're planning at least Sat. night in IL to be close to the band/bar (wink, wink - a short stumble home may be a good thing lol)...but don't want to be too far 'out of the loop' for any other impromptu events that may happen over the weekend. I know it won't be a "host hotel" situation...but maybe a "hot zone" for folks to stay in or near?

We will be staying Sat, Sun and Mon nights.

Where's everyone gonna be? : )

I'll be crashing at Steve Mackay's house in Waukesha.

Thanks again for the invite Steve!
One less thing to worry about.

Rat,if your looking for a hotel, check in Antioch. It's the closest. I stopped in Dry Dock Saloon last night and had a beer. It's confirmed! East Troy is about 30min from there. For the ride and such, try a place in East Troy, or Burlington. I live 8mi from East Troy, and my family lives in Lake Villa/Antioch. Ill be home for the ride, and at my parent for the tunes on Sat. The gal and I will be wearing our Buell shirts! C-ya there!

My townhouse has an empty bedroom. I can put up anybody who can handle a single bed or the floor.

We have two bathrooms and a decent sized garage.

About 25 minutes from Buell and 10 from Hal's.

Our catch is, we'll likely be travelling with our 9 week old puppy. Crate broken already (!), but even at 3.25 pounds...still technically a "pet", limiting our choices.

Our place is pet friendly Rat, we have a 2.5 year old Boarder Collie.

If you can't find a place, my door is open.

Steve or Brian, give me a ring. I can 'donate' a pop-up camper for the cause. The domestic goddess is too sick for me to host.

John - that's too funny. Morgan is a rescue pup, they said she's border collie...but at nine weeks and only 3.25 lbs, we're thinking more jack russell LOL. Be interesting to compare though, if things work out that way. Thanks for the offer, we'll keep you posted as quickly as we can. Worst case, I'll have my tent and our bags in the back of the truck LOL.

For anyone still looking, I just booked a room for me and Swampy at LaQuinta on 15300 Rock Ridge Rd in New Berlin at $57 a night (came to $70 with taxes, etc).

I called the hotel (to make sure we weren't going to be stuck with a king bed) and the gal said they are looking to be really slow those days so if there are any groups coming in they might be able to set up a group discount directly through the hotel. Their normal rates are $72 a night so I am not sure if they could come down to the $57 Hotwire rate.

Just thought I would throw it out. Their number is (262) 717-0900

Just thought I would throw it out

"John - that's too funny. Morgan is a rescue pup."

So's Sherlock. My gf rescued him from an abusive household. The "man" of the house threw him against a wall when he was born and broke his right leg so badly it can't be straightened.

How can people do that to a puppy??

He's 2.5 now. Just as cute though. He's actually a boarder collie/beagle mix we found out.

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Express by the Racine exit on 94. I might cancel that and ride up Monday morning. I had to take the Uly back to the shop so I might be on a borrowed demo.

PKman....talk to Bads1, Dana, he's riding up from Racine too. I don't know who's all heading up/over from that direction. Seems logical to get a group ride coming from there.
