What do we want to do about the spring Buell event.

March Badness is great except for the endless rain.

April Buell's Day in late April?

Let's go ahead and get this thing planned. It'll give us something to look forward to this spring.

Any time would rock. These events are going to be a lot more vital than they were before.

Have you thought any more about the location? You had mentioned Little Switzerland, NC earlier.

Uh.....not so well....had a buddy stay in a cabin for MBIV. On the way home cruising down 60, not all that fast for us Ulyites, he put his road hog up on a running board on a right hander and slid it to the white line on the other side. As a completely cool move he saved it just before running out of pavement. He was right ahead of me, and hell, I did not even have to lean into that corner. Oh well each pig rider to himself.

If there are hog demos I will not be there. How about Hooters Wings demos?.....I like Hooters! and wings!!

We should do demos of hogs, every bike would come back missing floorboards, chrome, and the funny heal shifters.

hey you all can do rider skills challenges aka old Battle Trax set up. Invite other metric sportbikes to join.
Then invite a Total Control Instructor up to do a free 1 hour presentation on the 5 keys to cornering. Total Control class has 6 with the suspension set up. It's kind of like a sneak preview of the class. We do the static body position with the 1 hour presentation as well.
Williamsport, a place were I see RatBuell sometimes used to have an event called Sportfest. It included the demo fleet, parking lot track, and they actually had other metric spott bikes for demos join in. So take out the demo fleet and do the Total Control with the skills challenge. Make it a HOG event so the HOG insurance covers it.
I did both for Old Glory HD this summer. It was a lot of work but it was worth it to have all of the Buells show up and other sportbikes as well. And there was a guy with a wheelie machine there too

I could just see the Demo guys now.. shaking their heads and looking at all the ground down floorboards, bags, and pipes.

"The Quickening"
each spring eastern Tn / North GA

Ft, Regional gatherings from biz standpoint I don't see it for Tom from a fun / PR stand point it kinda makes some sense.

NashVegas could be entertaining too.
You and "your mad crew" could be thinking up stuff for "the phoenix motor co." events too.

The purposes are mostly social. A little dealer promotion, but not nearly as much as previously structured.

The memorial day weekend I am in Franklin Nc to Visit with JB2 & friends, the weather is great that time of year,
and the roads in the area are good, the dragon is close by, as is the cherahola,
the BRP and many other roads both paved and dirt.

Oh and BOB's

See if you can get JB2 or Ferris to Tell you about it.

For some strange reason that appeals to me quite a bit.......... Hell, we could make a contest out of it.
