it's a shame that it took what happened to get my brother in law to buy a Buell (1125R) and now he can't stop raving about the bike. And he has been riding for a long time and always an IL4. He has decided to sell his GSXR 1000, he likes the Buell so much. This is exactly where H_D screwed the pooch...and themselves. I actually had the salesman at a H-D tell me the problem was Buell didn't promote themselves or advertise enough. I had to remind him that H-D OWNS Buell, so THEY didn't advertise enough. I also had to remind him that the dealership he works at is an exception to the norm, which is 2 Buell and 1 tee shirt at most dealerships. The market was out there. It's H-D's own damn fault. Put the blame where it belongs. Squarely on THEIR marketing department. |

Thats cause they can not even fathem what 180 unusable to the average guy h/p in an I 4 super bike is compared to 146 completely user friendly h/p 1125 is they are more concerned with the ATOMIC 42 H/P of the bagger and 745 lbs of mean machine. It's focusing on Harley Davidson thats what it is Bah humbug. I am actually getting madder at the H-D co every day cause after all is said and done I don't want to hate them But now I do |

>>>This is exactly where H_D screwed the pooch...and themselves. Pisses me off when I agree with you. Buell Motorcycle Company had NOTHING to do with:
- Advertising
- Media Relations
- Public Relations
- Customer Service
- Parts & Accessories
- . . . . and a host of other functions
