Yesterday starting at 4pm (a dealer) in Dallas, slashed all the prices on their Buells.

On 10/15 from 5pm - 7pm this dealer sold...
2 09 1125CR's (one to me) for $4995
1 09 XB12X for $6995
1 09 1125R for $5995

So today, I go to work and tell my coworkers about the Buell sale. 3 of my coworkers bug out at 10:30 to go check it out.
I arrived at the dealer at 11:45 to pick up my CR and found out that all 3 of my coworkers picked up Buells.

1 White/Blue 1125R for $5995
1 Black/Black full race fairing 1125R for $5995
1 Red/Black 1125R for $5995

Another guy came in at 12 noon and bought...
1 White/Blue 1125R for $5995

and last but not least...

at 1pm a gentleman came in and picked up the only 2010 model they had

1 Blk/Blk XB12SS for $5995.

The dealer said they just secured 4 more 25CR's and 2 25R's from another dealer and would be selling them for the prices listed above this weekend.

So that is 9 Buells in less than 2 days.

Maybe if their prices where like this all the time they would have sold 4 times the bikes they did??? The world will never know.

Maybe if their prices were like that all the time they would be out of Business instead of Buell. Enjoy the cheap bikes, I would if I were interested in one of them, but it's a sad statement if you think a 1125R or CR is only worth $5,995...

I was joking. A motorcycle is not an investment. It's a money pit. We are all in the same boat.
I wonder how much it cost Buell to make and sell a Buell in the world of Harley? I also wonder how much it would cost to make and sell a Buell outside the world of Harley?
Time for a business plan???

I can't complain. I stopped by my dealer today to look for a deal. None to be had. Although if I wanted a simple Buell zip up hooded sweatshirt it was only $75??? I can buy a nice riding jacket on the web for that price!
