Supposedly Harley by law or whatever has to/will supply parts for 7 years or something like that. Is this fact? If so what level of service do they have to meet? It’s seem to me they could satisfy the letter of the law and still in reality finding parts might become a real hassle. I’d image the cost of stocking parts is huge, and I’ll bet they are going to try to get off as cheap as possible. It’s all speculation,But how long will the wait for ordered parts be? What will they be charging for parts? If they fail to maintain inventory at reasonable levels, or at all, will they face consequences ? If so from whom? What even is a reasonably level? I’d like to buy one at these prices, but these are issues I haven’t seen touched on yet. |

Judging by the two months my dealer has been waiting for a 2009 1125R Instrument Cluster to come off backorder for a warranty replacement, I'd say that Harley is making it a hassle getting parts. Anybody know where Skip Fordyce can get one? |

I got my instrument cluster replaced under warranty in a week. Maybe your dealer is jacking you around. |
