I say this the the opportune moment to organize the largest homecoming ever. Or something. WE don't need to tell Erik he will be missed, how he was loved. We need to thank him and tell him not to stop. Sure HD pulled the plug but you and I know he's not done. I still believe in his 200 year plan.
Even if I ride up to an empty weed over grown parking lot outside a desolate factory... I will be there for Homecoming this year. I say we camp in the parking lot of the factory. BBQ and party right there at the front door till the cops are called and our demands for THE man of honor to ask us to leave. Why hasn't Annony said anything to us? He hasn't forsaken us, he's up to something. That man has a plan B and we just don't know it. But I do, I know.

I for one an EXCITED!

I came into this Buell family just a couple of years ago so I've missed out on a lot of the previous excitement with the handbuilt bikes from a run down barn, the transition from Tuber to XB, etc. Now I feel like I can be a part of the next chapter of Buell history!

I'm more excited about homecoming 2010 than I have been about the past two years I attended. This bond among enthusiasts is absolutely amazing! I can't wait to see this American dream OWN whatever is around the next corner!

I think people are finally seeing the upside to this. I had been doing business with OMC (Johnson/Evinrude) for years when they shut the doors. The company went through a few owners, and finally got bought out by Bombardier. Keep in mind, this is NOT BRP! I still to this day make tools for them, to work on outboard motors. Yeah, we had a couple years downtime, but it all came back. I think it would be hard to imagine BMC just going to waste. There is someone out there that knows how to remedy the situation. There is worldwide interest in the product, and demand for it. I just don't see this being the end! Something is going to happen. WHAT......is the question. I will keep riding my Buell until I find out. Miles of smiles everyone!!!!! The support here alone is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!
