Man I'm feeling guilty. I've been checking out the KTM SuperDuke pretty hard. Sweet bike... A long lost HS buddy of mine (just recently back in touch) has an 08 RC8, and is going to let me ride it next spring. I guess that will be the deciding factor.

I have ridden both.

Great bikes! I love them. I just think they are over priced. Not as much value as the Buell, and alot more maintenance.

Larger sticker price and high cost of ownership for me as compared to the buells.

The grass is not always greener on the other side unless you find a screaming deal.

My 2Cents.

Of course I'd never sell my Buell. That 990 looks like a beast though. There's a KTM dealer near by, I'll have to take a look in person. Yeah I figured there would be a lot more maintenance involved. I'll do my homework...

I LOVE the looks of the SD but hated the fueling of the motor. Talk about snatchy.

I'd test ride the CR and SD side by side and let the bikes speak for themselves.

My guess is that the CR would be finding it's way into your heart (and garage).

I happen to have one of each flavor. : D

Psst....The SD only has 118HP and 74ftlbs of torque and weighs 410lbs dry. The CR is 146HP and 82ftlbs of torque and weighs 375lbs.

Just sayin'.

Honestly, don't feel guilty, the best lawyers in the world don't know the meaning of the word guilty.

The CR wins on looks alone.

I ride a 620 sometimes on the weekends . . . it is a cool looking bike but I'd never give up the Uly for it . . . two different tools.
