It might be a good idea to allow threads to be started directly in the Backfire Board. The political threads really do irritate some Badweb members and the primary mission of Badweb is motorcycles? I personally like them but that's just me and would prefer to start the food fight down in the basement. That way the living room remains tidy. | ||

Among the unemployed, the number of job losers and persons who completed temporary jobs rose by 603,000 to 10.4 million in September. The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks and over) rose by 450,000 to 5.4 million. Court's number was accurate and M2me is full of shit, as usual. There are a number of problems with that data. 1. The data is from the September report. The original Court post was written on September 25. If someone writes "last month" on September 25 it's logical to assume that they are referring to August, not September. 2. 603,000 does not equal 550,000, the number the Court post quoted. BTW, the actual number for August was 466,000. But even if Court had received the September report early, his 550,000 figure wasn't accurate for September either. 3. 450,000 does not equal 550,000. But there is a bigger problem with the 450,000 figure. It refers to the additional number of people who have been out of work for 27 weeks or more. So those 450,000 did not lose their jobs in either August or September. I believe that neither 466,000 or 603,0000 equals 550,000 and August is not the same as September. I'm sorry if you think that is disrespectful commentary or shilling for the left wing. Facts are facts. Facts are never disrespectful. | ||

It seems lately that often when someone posts informatively and counter to the far left socialist agenda, a bomb thrower steps in and pollutes the thread causing it to be removed from public view to the Backfire Board. For the far lefties, that is mission accomplished in that they've succeeded in squelching valid opposition to their socialist agenda. I'm confused. If I am one of the far lefties that you are referring to (and I assume that I am) I don't have the power to move anything to the Backfire Board or anywhere else. I don't even have the power to view the Backfire Board, let alone post to it. The public can't view or post to the Backfire Board either. Let me see if I understand how it works: Ban all non right wingers (and the public) from the Backfire Board and then move any political discussions to it. Iam happy with my job and I dont feel like Iam being taken advantage of. I can leave anytime I want and look for another job. My skill gives me decent opportunity in my area although it is shrinking. Iam confident though that by stifling growth and penalizing energy consumption manufacturing in the US will boom once again. | ||

I'm gonna stay at my current place of employment as LONG as I can.... Good benefits.... 401K, Health Insurance, I'm up to 3 weeks vacation, 6 sick days... Keep Bad Web on the puter just about all day... Get paid mileage to go see customers... I ride the Uly most of the time.. It seems that the BadWeb is quickly becoming like a lot of other so-called motorcycle sites I see. It is a shame because this place used to be civil. I am a firm believer in everyone having the right to voice their opinions but I have a feeling, if we were talking in person instead of on the Internet this would have went a lot differently. I really cannot believe we have been reduced to calling each other names like "racist". Is this what I am to expect from the Quick Board in the future?
