On the way home this evening, there was a guy with his motorcycle stopped beside the road. He was waving his arms so I thought he was broke down and I stopped to see what I could do. Things went down hill from there. He was hysterical and was asking me if I had saw a kid beside the road. I thought he was riding along with someone and they got seperated. So, I asked him, "you mean on a bike?" He says no. He said that he had the kid on the bike with him when he left a town about 30 miles away and that he lost him and thought that he fell off the bike along the way. I told him to stay there and call for help and doubled back the way that he had came from to look for the kid. I had passed a cop just a few minutes before so I caught up with him about the time that he got to the police station. Told them what was going on and continued back to look for the kid. Couldn't find him anywhere. I made my way back to where the guy was and he was still there with the police. When I pull up, he says that they found the kid. He had stopped a few miles back at a bridge and had took off without the kid. The cops had found the kid there. I can understand forgetting your wallet or keys but how do you forget your kid!

I agree I just hope he got a better ride home.Only good thing is the place the kid was left at is a river access point ,so there were other people around.

I'd sure like to be around (at a safe distance) when Mom finds out. This could be one of those things that are just unexplainable.

We did go off and leave a kid at church one Sunday. But that's different, your going to be back in a week anyway.
