How often do you ride in the column? Do you like it? Are there any prohibitions of riding in column in your city? ( for example the road police can forbid riding together more than three bikers )
That movie shows you how we ride in my city : )

can you show me how you ride?

Brumbear: Nice video. How often do you ride in the column?

Xl1200r: what camera did you use when took your movie? What program did you use to prepare it?

Luftkoph: There are many MC's in Moscow and in Russia as well. So the motor culture is well developed.

The camera is a VholdR Contour HD, and I made it rather quickly in iMovie on my Mac.

We ride staggered column until the twisty roads then each gets their own space we usually have several groups of 5 to 6 bikes this tends to make it easier to stay together we have found but larger groups still work. The only time we ride double column is in towns where it is necessity

Andymnelson: I meant riding in staggered order when more than 2 bikes ride together. ( I do not know another term in English for that kind of riding. May you correct me?)

Whatever: Can you give me example of any hand signal? (or link where all of them will be described) I just want to compare your signals with our ones.

Here's a link to the TCMC's club riding primer. They are a great group of guys and gals, and responsible riders. Check out their hand signals, and you can also see how we ride.

Blake- I did watch it..but was unclear as to what "the column" is. I would assume it meant single file or something!

We ride staggered as in the video around here.

Andymnelson: In Russia the riding in staggered order or single file (for example in the traffic jam) is named riding "in the column".
Sorry for making you confused : )

Haha no worries : p I see a lot of rookies riding side by side here. Scares the crap out of when I see that, because they have no room to maneuver if they need to. I really like the staggered formation, it gives greater braking reaction time, and gives you left-to-right maneuver space.

We ride in the column then. : )

I see SPEED INDICATORS on one bike in front of the camera bike. Speed indicators= handle bar Tassels! 0 MPH they point down to the ground
25 MPH they start to get pushed by the air.
50 MPH they are almost horizontal with the road.
60 MPH they are horizontal with the road
Cool You-Tube from Russia Cool bikes and scenery!
