found this on another forum.

A C-130 was lumbering along when a cocky F-16 flashed by.
The jet jockey decided to show off.
The fighter jock told the C-130 pilot, 'watch this!' and promptly went into a barrel roll followed by a steep climb. He then finished with a sonic boom as he broke the sound barrier.
The F-16 pilot asked the C-130 pilot what he thought of that?
The C-130 pilot said, 'That was impressive, but watch this!'
The C-130 droned along for about 5 minutes and then the C-130 pilot came back on and said: 'What did you think of that?'
Puzzled, the F-16 pilot asked, 'What the heck did you do?'
The C-130 pilot chuckled. 'I stood up, stretched my legs, walked to the back, took a leak, then got a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll.'

more proof that "high performance" is a relative term...guess it's time to get the goldwing back on the road, that big windshield is looking better and better as the temps start to drop

LoL,
Take it from another GL1800 rider, the expsresso, microwave and toaster all fit very well into the hard luggage. With hydraulic open and close pistons on the hard bags the access is fantastic running down the highway. I have my reclining seat and road pegs configured for max stretch on those super slab cat naps while running on cruise with the FLIR and Bitching Betty set to wake me if the bike starts to wander.

Yep, I will take the C-130 any day.

i wish Buell would give the goldwing some competition.

I can see it now,
someone hanging off the side, not waving, as they go through a corner........ on a "Buellwing"

edit: I'll take an F-16, thank you very much.

"With a diesel"

Can I get an AMEN on that one? Give me some turbo whistle and I'm set. That would be way cool.

Ha!
I have a similar story to the OP's submission.

I was a radar operator (AW) on P-3 aircraft in the Navy. We were on deployment to Rota, Spain, and doing a joint work-up in the Med with the battlegroup.

Our P-3 was playing "Incoming Bogey" and we were intercepted by an F-18. After the excercise was deemed a success, the F-18 pilot ran up along our port side doing rolls. He then slowed a bit and gave us a thumbs up.
I was in the observers seat eating a sandwich (it was a loooong flight), so I held up my plate with my big-ole sammich, and gave him a thumbs up too!
The pilot nodded, as if conceeding his defeat, gave me another thumbs up, then blasted away.

He really did win that one though... cause I would have given up that sandwich and then some to be able to fly that plane...
