My good friend Clint from Kansas was out this weekend. He had a three fold mission. He was playing at the Lansing Old Town Blues Fest this weekend, he had a reunion to go to, and most importantly he had the privilage of picking up a new puppy.

This is a report of the puppy retrieval. We rode to the reunion and picked up the puppy. Carefully place it in a carrier on the back of my Ulysses

and then rode to Big Rapids to spend the night at a friends house.
On the left is Clint riding my Sporty, in the middle is Big Bob riding a can of Tuna, and on the left is yours truly(Big Rob) on the Ulysses.

A beautiful 10 week old Red Nose Red, she had no idea where she was going when she was removed from the litter, but she is on her way to a very good life with Clint.

I love that Red Nose face. Looks like she could get pretty stalky. I have a Red/American named Tipsy, aka Lil Girl back home that I miss already and I've only been gone 9 hrs. People talk smack about Pits but I'll tell you my Lil Girl is the most loving and loyal dog I've ever had. She's never hurt a soul...

Beautiful pit!

I've had Timmy for almost two years now and couldn't wish for a better dog. I was pleasantly surprised last month to see that he's smart enough to be cautious around small kids even though he's rarely around them.

I get a kick out of letting the neighbor kids play with him then letting their parents overhear the word "Pit Bull" and watching them panic. It's a shame that such a loving and loyal breed gets a bad rap due to a few bad owners.

I have a client in NYC who has two pit bulls. Great dogs. She makes a point of saving "problem" pit bulls from shelters, and giving them her own brand of rehab and a new, cool life with her, her husband and his hound.

Nice puppy!

Whoever said "Money can't buy happiness" forgot about puppies.

She's a lovely girl. I have three of my own and also prefer the breed.

BTW give her LOTS of stuff to play with, saves on furniture!
