Just wondering if there are any plans to create another calendar for next year? I loved the 2009 calendars (action, and stills) I'm sure there are plenty of us here willing to submit pictures of our bad weather bikes  | ||

Yes. Details to follow. So... Get all your best pictures together. I'll have four calendars to choose from. well..kind of. I'll have the Action Calendar and the Sidestand Calendar, only this time there will be two sizes to choose from. One size will be 11 X 8.5 and will be $20. The other will be the same as last year 17 X 11 and be $25. 11 X 17 and 11 X 22 respectively when open (hung on the wall). •Your contribution: •All pictures must be at least 300DPI. •Pictures should be 2300 X 3500 pixels, I can fudge on this, but not very much. •I can size down easily, sizing up can be less than successful. Once I have the calendars together, there will be a link for choosing and paying. Also: You must own any picture you send. One exception: Killboy.com allows me to print a picture that you bought from him. So, if you have a picture of you on the Dragon Tail that he took, I can use that. Just make sure to tell me the picture came from Killboy.com, so I can give him credit as photographer. | ||

Silly questions - Working out the pixels is easy, but how can you tell if an image is 300dpi? What sort of cameras are people using to get 2300 x 3500? Is that about 8MP upwards? PS - NICE pics Wavex, and I love that colour scheme (Message edited by lemonchili_x1 on September 01, 2009) | ||

Thanks guys  Lemonchili: don't worry about the DPI count... it does not really matter for digital pictures as long as you have a high resolution camera... Outside of the mechanical interfaces for things like scanners or printers where the machine functions by moving across the image to be scanned or the product being printed on, it's pretty much an unnecessary figure. indeed, 2300pixels X 3500pixels = 8.5Mega pixels | ||
