Next challenge:

Your motorcycle in front of one body of water meeting another body of water, ie. river meets lake/bay/ocean, bay meets ocean, river merges with ocean.

Marker will be any motorcycle magazine on seat. Bonus points if magazine has Buell on cover. Extra bonus points if Okra or Teflon tape visible. Eleventy billion bonus points if bike is a Blast with all above bonus items.

Have fun.

Vern, there is one you can get on Ebay, its like $50, but its reinforced and won't break like the OEM one. I just picked one up for mine and haven't gotten around to swapping it yet.

Frog-man, I did way better than that. O'Reilly Auto Parts stocks them!? What-you-say? A 1 3/4" fuel filler tube is fuel proof, fiberglass reinforced, and when you cut off a 2" slice from a 12" piece you have five more left. Total cost $8.27! It really should never fail due to the reinforced hose layers.

Can it be the spill-way of a dam.....where the lake becomes a river? If so, I can hit this one for the eleventybillion in the morning!

Damn, might be the first time that farmer will have ever had OKRA stolen out of his field!

Hey Glitch. Yeah they're kinda like what you see in a zoo. You pronounce them Panther. They are in short supply right now.

Exactly how far south do you have to be from to not only forget to cross the T but pronounce it too? You must be talking about the south of France. J/K

PANTHER = Might cross your path in the South

Panier = Basket

I guess you're French.

It's all good. At least you're good at what you do. Nice vids and pics....

It's a Hillbilly thing I reckon.
The area I'm from is Scotch-Irish, with a little Swiss and German thrown in for good measure.
Me?
I'm part Scandinavian, part Scotch-Irish, and not to be left out the other side of the family are those types that can trace their heritage back to the Mayflower, they hated that GarndMama married a Mountaineer.
One of GrandMama's kin is Woodrow Wilson, GrandDaddy was "just a mountain man"
If I had said "it's pronounced 'painter' it just wouldn't have worked.
Funny thing, all the people around here say I sound "country"
I talk Mountaineer.
Blake says I have a "sophisticated southern accent"
I guess some of mine has gone, cause whenever I go home, my friends say I sound like a yankee.
When I get back from home everyone here says I sound "real country"
It's kinda sad though, the number of people that talk Mountaineer are getting fewer and fewer...
At least you're good at what you do.
That means more to me than you could know.
Thanks so very much!

Sorry for the hi-jack!

The thing is (not all) a lot of folks in semi-isolated small communities the South learned to speak from their Mamaw and Papaw. The good folks they were, a generation or so ago, they didn't have all of their teeth. Along with that, their ability to pronounce words was further skewed by a large chaw of fresh grown and cured tobacco stuffed in a cheek. Ergo, anytime a "th" would be pronounced someone would get 'wet'. So, especially on Sunday, they would speak softly and avoid the "th" sound, as to not mess up their 'Sunday Best'.

'At's wyy 'aae speak 'ess way.

No facts were used in this explanation just an observation from a damn Yankee who happens to live among them.

Lemonchili,

Good job!

I could have made the whole eleventybillion, but it is raining, a thunder storm that is blowing hard enough to make it rain sideways.

I would have to become a thief also. That OKRA in the field is between me and the dam, a trip to the store would have had me going the other way!
