Awesome job guys! I cannot tell you how much it means to get a care package and good stuff from home when you are there. I spent a total of 24 months in Afghanistan and the sort of support going on here is truly inspiring! Thanks for taking time out of your schedules and lives to help those troops. I know I'll be back there again at some point and I'd be happier than a pig in #$%! to get this kinda support!

+1000

For those of you deployed, keep up the good fight, spread the word about this amazing american company and give 'em hell!

>>>>I guarantee you there will be some converts out of this crew!

If there are great, if there are not great. The important thing, for now, is that these brave and patriotic men and women know just how much they are supported.

Both Erik and I and our (younger, smaller, wiser) wives grew up in an era when American Service Personnel were not properly appreciated.

I can't convey to you how personally committed to supporting out troops Erik is. In fact, he went (in typical Erik style) a bit overboard a couple weeks ago. It's one of the things, this boundless passion, that I've come to love over the years. Anyone can "live" but living with passion is what makes it worthwhile.

This, for me, is my proudest moment of Badwebness over the years. The folks of Badweb have in the past proven themselves capable of combining skills and talents to do things others had deemed impossible.

This may be the single greatest cause we have come together in. I urge any of you who have not yet sent something to think about it. I so vividly recall how cherished each and every letter was . . . just a letter could change a day.

Like I said . . . proud to be an American, proud to be a Buell Owner.

A million thanks to all of you guys for supporting us over here. It brings a tear to my eye every time I read this topic that started with me just wanting to say hi and let every one know I am ok. This is my 3rd deployment and the second time I have received cool stuff from baddwebbers. the second deployment i got packages from DaveS and his wife when he still worked at a buell dealership and a cool cd from court that I still have at home with all the press release info from buell that year. I have met only a hand full of badwebbers in real life but I feel like ya'll all are a second family to me.

+infiniti what Don said.
You all have been very supportive since I had posted up that picture back in March. The packages and letters have been received with a round of applause from our company. The guys always wait till Mail call to see how many boxes, and what kinda items showed up haha.

Court, still wondering if Erik ever got my reply to that little patch he sent over, coudl you double check for me?

When I get home there maybe a trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway to NC, alot of guys are thinking of maybe tagging along. Have to check with Prior about rooming accomadations, sounds like this could get pretty big...

Thanks again everyone.

Stingaroo & Xb9er, a package got sent out today from Brookfield, WI. Let's see how long it takes to get to you.

I sent mine priority and they said it would take about 2 weeks to get to you. hhmm....

Who's a flat rate box expert here.... Does it matter if I get a regular one or a priority one. Does the difference make it get to them faster?

I've always used the flat rate box. It was my postman suggested when I told him what I was shipping. Don't know if it made a difference in time delivery or not. Just know I could pack it full!

A flat rate box was suggested to me too but it is not that big. If you use your own box, 40 pounds of stuff will run you ~30 bucks. : )

Guys sorry for the delay but the stuff is shipping tomorrow. Haven't been able to get someone over here to help me out but my hand is ok enough to pick up the boxes.

FYI to everyone.......... be careful of backfiring carburetors.

He did . . . . he is thrilled and grateful.

He's going about 18 hours a day, I finally hooked up with him at 11:59pm and sends his best. You'll hear from him as soon as he shakes the wolves.

I could be wrong here . . . but I love it when he gets this busy. <g> . . . something neat always seems to follow.

Brain, Chris & Steven. Your packages left southeastern Massachusetts today. Sent USPS Priority and you should be getting them within 2 weeks, so they say. Enjoy!

And once again, thank you for your Service!

Magazines went out to all 4 addresses today.

I have 3 more packages for the others I missed earlier this week. Hopefully tomorrow, if not on Monday.

I'm curious how long they take to get to you guys.

The cool part about today's shipments were that they rode on the Uly with me to the Post Office. =)

Oh, the one thing that I learned today shipping my stuff was that the difference in shipping classes reflect on how the package arrives to the APO. Once there, they all go the same.

Steve, Hears a funny story about that banner. I picked that banner up from a shop in State College PA when I went in to get parts ( I was passing through) and they said they did not carry Buell anymore. I asked for the manager, told him that banner was false advertising, and he gave to me (along with a second one that Prior has) to keep me quiet! haha. I took it to the 25th anniversary and had it signed by everyone I met from Badweb, and Buell employees including Erik. I promised everyone I would hang it everywhere we go, currently it is above my bed here on Liberty.

The little flags are from outside the hotel during the 25th anniversary, a few beers later my wife and Bart had a pretty good bundle of them stashed away...

I will try to get more pics uploaded once I find some free time.
Brian

Todd, got your mail today, please inform Sami and Mary I have the picture hanging up in our breifing room where all soldiers go before and after a mission. It is at about head height beside the door so they see it everytime they walk out. I would take a picture of it, but cannot for security reasons. Thank you!
Jim, got all your boxes today, check your email! everything came in successfully and was a smashing hit!
Thanks again Buellers!

Just so you folks know, I sent the boxes to Brain last Thursday and he received them today, how awesome is that?

Brian asked that I share these photos with the group. Here is his email that he sent me earlier.

The first photo is too big and I'm not on my computer so I'll post it up later.

Jim,
Got your packages today, the guys are very pleased. I put the boxes, except the ones with magazines in the briefing room so soldiers can dig through it before or after a mission. Thank you very much. The picture is with our Armorer, myself, Cpl Kirshmann, and Sgt Crum. They could not beleive where this all came from and after I explained the BADWEB patches, they were extremely thankful and decided to snap this picture.
I was wondering if you could post up a few pictures for me on Badweb. The first one should be some of the fellas after we opend up the boxes. The Second one is Rimmey sitting on what he thought to be the original tuber ahahha. The last one is a pic of my room with the banner, posters, pics of the wife and I. I have a bare spot saved for a picture I am having painted of Kate and I haha.
The interest is growing among the soldiers around me, not just because of the Buell company, but because of the community it helped bring together.
Take care,
Brian Cessna

Deployed guys-

Can ya'll get a flag that has been flown out on patrol or a 'special outing' for Erik to have at the office or maybe the line...I'm sure he/they would appreciate it.
I plan on getting one that has been flown over the JSOC headquarters in Afganistan. Stay safe bros. See you when I get there. lol
