I have test ridden acouple of XB bikes and one thing I came away not liking too much was the shifter.
They "rub me the wrong way".

My X1 has the old "boomarang" shifter.
I like it because it pivots on the same axis as the peg and doesn't gring the top of my foot as much.
It is sloppy and I have to replace the plasic bushings every 8000 miles ($1 parts) but other than that, I like them.

The real question here is:
Can the same style of shifter be fitted to an XB?

Just planning ahead. I really want to get an XB12X sometime soon.
