Wait-a-minute,the biker seems amateurish.In competition that bike should never go below 10,000 rpms.The biker is lugging along behind the 'Bug at 7000 and when the car takes off the bike isn't making enough torque to keep up.I just think the bike would have a better chance keeping the Rs' up higher. | ||

I think the optics of the camera make it look like the cars are pulling away more than they really are. I think the guy on the bike is not pushing wide open because of traffic and the fact that he doesn't HAVE TO. He's just trying to keep up, not pass. | ||

I didn't see anything surprising. The car accelerated away from the bike because it had a head start. If I'm in front of you on a road and I downshift and punch it, I'm going to pull away from you, too. It takes a few seconds for you to notice I'm accelerating, process that information and go through the motions of accelerating yourself. The bike in the video eventually pulled up behind the car. | ||
