Frankly, I'm a little disappointed in this thread. I was expecting to be disliked by the vast majority. What the hell is wrong with you Americans? Can't you just dislike me enough to invade Yorkshire? I could hide in a pothole for nine months to make it worth the exercise. I'm sure it would be ok to bomb York. Afterwards you could place my head on the gates, next to Dick Turpin's. But only if you can catch the Rocketman making his escape down the B1753 on his trusty Buell. No, better make that 916, unless anyone knows of a great dirt bike?

This site is getting out of hand with the petty Bullsh*t. There has to be something better to do then think about what ROCKET is doing or saying!! Jeez ppl. its a motorcycle forum not a hanging.

What possessed anybody to think that this was capable of being entertaining or interesting to read anyways? I'd get more pleasure from running my nostrils down a cactus, than reading another bashing(of any kind) on this site.. if its not a member, its another brand of bike, its getting outta hand!

Darwin would NOT be pleased to see how inefficiently evolution sometimes works.

wolf, thanks for the metallica. there is nothing better in the world than cruising down the road on a bike(ultra most of the time) listing to that band and as far as what language we are talking right now. i could be wrong but if you check back in your history, if there are any history buffs please confirm this, when they were voting on what language we should be speaking, the english language won by one vote over german. and as far as the troops are concerned, even if you don't believe in what is going on over there, don't let the troops know this. they have enough to worry about. support them as individuals and not as a country.

Frankly Im somewhat surprised alot of people here would have ill feelings towards rocketman based mostly on his sexual preference. We are all different and have to learn to get along. So long as he isnt hurting anyone I dont see what the big deal is if he likes dudes.

Rocket, I know weve had our disagreements but I dont care what you do in the bedroom. Your probably even a cool bloke in person. Dont let a bunch a big muscle bound motorcycle men bully you into the corner.

In response I post something tongue in cheek, like my unAmerican comments the other day, and I have to sit back and read the crap that some of you write because you fail to see or understand wit / sarcasm / humour / intellect / wisecracks etc. But most of all some of you, thankfully a small ignorant minority, just aren't smart enough to work out tongue in cheek and you most always fail the test.



Here's a thought for you all to sleep on, and when you wake I hope you have the clarity of mind to see how offensive some of your remarks are that smack of hypocrisy.

I've dug you from day one.
You say sh1t that pissed me off on occasion but then that can be said of a lot of folks.
However, even though you are just "poking the cage" one more time on occasion, sometimes you need to know when to back off.
Kind of like a sibling poking their little brother in the back seat of the car.
It ticks off the little brother but it's kind of fun for the older brother to get a rise out of the kid.
Sooner or later the poking is no longer funny or entertaining.
A bit like an ad for an "adult beverage" from a few years ago.
"You have to know how to carry on without getting carried away".

Everyone I know gets it messed up once in a while.

Yes, I'm guilty of a poor sense of humor. I continue to look for anything witty, humorous or intellectual about the above comment - sorry I just don't see it. Crass, crude, and disrespectful is about the only way I can interpret it. Then again it may be because I've know some of those 'body bag fillers.' I've known them by name. I've met their families. I've lived with them, partied with them, fought beside them, and attended their memorial services. I'm biased.

That being said, I didn't complain to the management. I responded directly to the post. If that is how rocket feels, fine. I expressed how I felt about it in my response. Why should we bash him for being 'un-American?' He IS un-American.
