Watch this dummy get launched by the airbag.

From the site:
"Do they really need to conduct this test. If your going 50MPH on a motorcycle and you T-bone a car does it really matter what type of bike you were driving."

Reminds me of the clip where Goose is thrown from Maverick's jet and he hits the window. Slow-mo launching.

Yeah... Air bag and Motorcycle. I guess. There's a great sticker I saw in a Maintenance Shop at my old unit like 10 years ago.

"Fix it till it's broke"

They're slowly on their way to turning Motorcycles into Cages as well.

You can't save everybody, folks. Moreover, do you really want to?

They ought to leave bikes alone, and get back to working on sex.
Motorcycles are dangerous, sex is supposed to be safe.
At least that's the way I see it.

Notice he hit a minivan and was that a woman dummy driving?
He should have tried some evasive maneuvers.

Motorcycles aren't dangerous. Minivans are dangerous.

If you put an airbag on my motorcycle, I'm taking it off and putting it under a minivan!

Better than no airbag. I'm sure that crash would probably be fatal without the bag regardless of what type of gear you're wearing. Sign me up for an airbag...just in case.

Realistic huh?

I have no problem with the airbag, just as long as it doesn't look like a butt, like the first generation airbag did.

I'm not in favor of air-bags for bikes but then I'm sure that dummy would have died without the bag.

There was a recent article that said that all of these safety devices are actually making people worse drivers due to the invicibilty that they feel from them. I agree, I see so many people that don't even look before pulling out in traffic or making left turns.

I've noticed around where I live the worst drivers are women driving around wearing HUGE sunglasses while holding the phone to there face with there mouth gaping open. I see them at stoplights just holding the phone up and never speaking as if the person on the other end is reminding them to breath. These is mostly younger or the wanna be younger plastic face fish lip crowd.

The air bag should be a suit that inflates like a beach ball, like that Mars Rover that just bounces to a stop. The air bag in my jeep makes me feel like I've got a shotgun pointed at my face.
